Symbols of the Russian Federation.

The Flag

The flag of the Russian Federation is a rectangular panel with equal horizontal stripes. The stripes are white, blue and red. The colours of the flag are symbolic.

White symbolizes peace, purity, perfection (or freedom);

blue symbolizes constancy, faith and loyalty;

red symbolizes energy, and bloodshed for their country

The national Coat of Arms

The national emblem is – a two headed eagle. It is the most ancient symbol of Russia.
