Презентация "Россия"

Презентация «России» рассказывает о стране. Россия является крупнейшей по площади страной в мире. Ее площадь составляет 17 098.242 тыс.кв.км. Государство располагается в восточной части Европы и северной части Азии. Страна протянулась с запада на восток почти на 10,000 км. Презентация подходит для любого УМК. Russia is situated on two continents: Europe and Asia.

The Urals (the Ural mountains) form a natural border between the continents.

Its total area is about 17 million square kilometres. The country is washed by 12 seas of 3 oceans.

Moscow is the capital.

We have steppes in the south, plains and forests in the central region.

We have tundra and taiga in the north, highlands and deserts in the east.

There are several mountain chains on the territory of the country: the Urals, the Caucasus, the Altai and others.

The deepest lakes are the Baikal and the Ladoga. The water of the lake Baikal is the purest in the world.

The Volga is the longest river in Europe. It flows into the Caspian Sea.

The main Siberian rivers are the Ob, the Yenisei and the Lena flow from south to north. The Amur in the Far East flows into the Pacific Ocean.

The climate of Russia is differs from arctic in the north to subtropical in the south. Flora and fauna are very rich.

Russia has one sixth of the world's forests.

In the north you can see the seal, the polar bear and the polar fox. In the central zone there are a lot of wolves and foxes, hares and squirrels.

The brown bear of the Russian forests is an animal symbol of Russia.

The Russian Federation is a presidential republic. The head of state is the President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

Today the state symbol of Russia is a three-coloured flag. The national emblem is the two-headed eagle.

Another symbol of Russia is the birch tree. You can find these trees everywhere. People sing beautiful songs with poetic words about birch trees.

At present, the political and economic situation in the country is rather complicated. There are a lot of problems in the national economy.

But I'm sure that we, the younger generation, can do a lot to make Russia as strong and powerful as it used to be.
