“Pictures at an exhibition”mavzusida ushbu dars ishlanma umumiy o’rta ta’lim maktablarining ingliz tili fani o’qituvchilari uchun mo’ljallangan bo’lib ulardan 8-sinf ingliz tili darslarida foydalanish mumkin.

The theme: Unit 8. Painting and Sculpture
Lesson 3. Pictures at an exhibition.
The aim of the lesson :
To extend pupils ability to tell dialogues with each other and; to introduce and practice vocabulary about exhibition; to raise pupils interest to drawing and painting the picture; to provide a practice reading for specific information; to practice listening for gist and specific detail and information; to help making order; to help to practice talking and writing about painting and sculpture; its role of our society;
The task of the lesson: By giving knowledge about the pictures and sculptures; to check how they are resourceful and smart; find out about painter; working with the class-book and develop their four languages skills :such as reading, listening, writing, speaking;
The lesson content: To review previous theme and give full information about new theme; Consolidating the new theme using interactive methods and organizing lesson step by step.
Performance technology of the learning process
Method: brainstorming, round-table discussion, exchange experiences,quick questionnaire ,unscramble words, working in small groups
Equipment and materials: Cards, photos, chalk, Fly –High 8 teachers book and pupils book, table about “past passive”, posters, computer.
Teacher: to teach new vocabulary on new theme and to encourage pupils to tell proverbs in English; to provide a revision and practice dialogues telling expressions;
Pupil; At the end of the lesson pupils will be able to; tell the famous painter of the world and compare with ours; use the structure: learning new vocabulary about exhibition and practice to use them in different situations; pupils will be able to use dialogue telling expressions ;pupil get information about various types of painting and they will be able to match them according to numbers; pupils find out about Past Passive
Futher plans( analysis,change) Teacher: Uses and evaluates various types of new innovative and pedagogical technologies;
Pupil: learns to differenciate Past Passive; pays attention in listening and cooperates with group mates while working in mini groups; Learns to use skimming and scanning strategies for reading tasks independently. Learns to listen for gist and listening for specific information strategies for listening tasks independently.
Aims and objectives:
Educational: To learn picture drawing and painting , how to make art galeries
Developing: To enable pupils to drawing their abilities and skills
Socio-lingual: To raise awareness of famous painter
Homework cheking.
The type of the lesson: The lesson which is based on giving new information, general knowledge, revision lesson
The method of the lesson: Non- traditional, inductive. “Claster”, modern.
The required equipments: pupils’ book , the DVD of the book, pictures, cards, slides, computer, note-books.

Procedure of the session (3minutes)
The beginning of the lesson: a) greeting: 3 different greetings :
b) to ask pupil on duty’s report
c) to make English atmosphere
Teacher: now pupils I divided you into 2 groups. One of valounteer come to the blackboard and choose your name. Speak ,show us and describe another about group’s name.
Pupil: Our group name is “ Great Britain” ( The Great Britain is area of 209,331 sq km2, population is 60,800,000 people, the capital of London,state languages is English, Queen is now a days Elizabetta 2)
Pupil: “Uzbekistan”(The Uzbekistan is area of 448,900 km2 population is 32,121,000 people, the capital is Tashkent, state languages is Uzbek, the prezident of Uzbekistan is Shavkat Mirziyoyev.)
Consolidation of previous theme using interactive methods (7minutes)
Teacher: now pupils who can tell me what was last lesson ?
Pupil: our lesson was about “ Who was it painted by?”
Teacher: ok I give you many questions are you ready?
1.Who was drew or painted “Mother’s Portrait” picture?( artist Akhmedov 1970)
2. “Flowers and Birds” ( White 1972)?
3 When was the picture painted “Mother’s Portrait”?
4.Where did the artist live?
5. Can you describe this picture?
6. What does meaning of role play our life that pictures?
This picture is role play of our life to give us to have rest and to help our mind, create and develop our thinking ,knowledges.
Teacher: Today our new theme is about
“Pictures at an exhibitions”.
Pupils look at the blackboard , I give you some information about Passive Voice in the Past in uzbek “ majhul nisbat”
The sun attracts the planets – Quyosh sayyoralarni tortib turadi.
Pushkin wrote “Poltava” in 1828. – Pushkin “Poltava ” she’rini 1828 – yilda yozgan. (Active Voice)
The planets are attracted by the sun – Sayyoralar quyosh tomonidan tortiadi.
“Poltava” was written by Pushkin in 1828. - “Poltava” 1828 – yilda Pushkin tomonidan yozilgan. ( Passive Voice.)
The theme was learnt by teacher - Dars o’qituvchi tomonidan o’rgatildi.

Teacher: Dear pupils just we use activity about Passive Voice in the past .Are you ready? Here I wrote some sentences on the paper. Write the sentences to change from Active Voice to Passive Voice. Are you understand me?
1. Akhmedov was painted “ Mother’s Portrait” ( “ Mother’s Portrait ” was painted by Akhmedov)
2.The Metropolitan Museum was founded in New York in 1870.( The Metropolitan was founded by 1870.)
3.Kandinskiy was not painted “ Mother’s Portrait” ( “ Mother’s Portrait” was not by Kandinsky)
4. Mirzo Ulug’bek was built an observatory in Samarkand.(The observatory was built by Mirzo Ulug’bek in Samarkand)
5.Alexander Bell was created the telephone.( the telephone was created by Alexander Bell.)
6.Mirzo Ulug’bek was written “Ziji Kuragoniy” with the map.( “ Ziji Kuragoniy” was written by with map Mirzo ulug’bek)
7. Anvar was not made of sculpture. ( The sculpture was not made by Anvar)
8. Peale was made “ Still Life” sculpture.( “ Still Life” sculpture was made by Peale.)
9.The builders were built our school.( School was built by builders)
10.Kandinsky was written composition for portrait.( Composition for portrait was written by Kandinsky.)

Giving mark :
Teacher encourages and marks each pupil for their active participation in the lesson.
Give Homework: on pages 70-71. Do grammer exercise 2. Read about the National Gallery of Art in Washington. Find in the Passive and translate them.
