“Who wants to be a millionaire?”
Teacher: Good morning children, students and our guests! I'm glad to see you here at our quiz-show "Who wants to be a millionaire?". First of all let me introduce myself and my assistant. My name is Yelena Borisovna and this is Sim Kyon Bo, the student of the 11-th grade. He will help me today.
The game will pass as a competition between 3 teams. Our participants are the pupils of the 5 forms. First every team has to present its name and motto. The team of 5 "A" ( Our name is "Erudites", our motto is "Learn English"), the team of 5 "B" form ( Our name is "Explorers", our motto is "Practise English", the team of 5"C" form ( our name is "Optimists", our motto is "Enjoy English")
Children, I'm sure you will demonstrate us your English skills with pleasure. Be active and you'll be sure to win.
Sim Kyon Bo: Let me introduce our juries. They are the students of 11-th grade.
Now I'm going to remember how to play this game. It has 6 categories. In turn you have to choose the category and the question. Each question has its cost. The aim is to earn more money. If the team don't know the answer, the other team will answer and earn these dollars.
Let's start. Please, 5 "A'' form choose the category and the cost.
Teacher: We've just finished. And now while our juries calculate your dollars we have some minutes. Let's sing a song.
Juries: We have just calculated your earned dollars. Here your results.
5"A" form earns. dollars, 5"B" form -. dollars, 5"C" form -. dollars. Another words 5 " " takes the first place, 5" " takes the second place and 5" " form takes the third place.
Teacher: Dear friends! It's a pity but our competition has just finished. Thank you for your coming and taking an active part in our game. You are really bright and industrious. You can do different kinds of work. Remember! It is never late to learn and practise your English every time. We wish you all the best.
