Choosing the judge
Winter words. The first task for you is to remember as many as you can “winter words”. The winner will be who will name more of them. (2 min)
Pantomime. Now you will have the task on the cards. There you can see what picture you should make and then show. (the small river freezes, snow lays down on trees) Your opposites should guess the name of your picture! (3 min for preparing)
Decorate a fir-tree. The next task for you is to choose your friend as a fir-tree and for 2 minutes all team will decorate him/her. The star on the top and the toys under the tree are compulsory. (decorate with the things the children have got)
Snowflake. The captains’ competition. Who is the better designer? (to make a snowflake from the paper)
Scene. Now you should dramatize the merry festive song “Jingle Bells” and show it in 5 min. Act it out.
Gift. Soon the goat’s year will come. What do the goats like to eat? Let’s collect the present for the goat. You have a list of tasty food and your task is to choose a goat likes. (Children write the words on the blackboard)
Merry Christmas. Who is the best singer among you? Let’s find out it. 4.Fairy-tale “The Turnip”
I want one of you to come to me. (You will be a Turnip!)
And now 3 boys from one team and 3 girls from another one (they are given the cards with the characters and the sounds (roles, e.g.: Turnip "U-u-u-f-f-f!", Grandfather "So!", etc.))
Narrator: Once there lived a Grandfather with a Grandmother in a village. One day he had planted a turnip. And the turnip has grown big-very big! The Grandfather decides to pull it out. He pulls and pulls. No result!
The turnip doesn’t want!
Grandfather calls the Grandmother and ask her to help. Granny by Granddad, Granddad by the Turnip: pull and pull, no result!
Granny calls a Granddaughter to help. OK! Granddaughter comes. Granddaughter by Granny, Granny by Granddad, Granddad by the Turnip: pull and pull, no result!
Granddaughter calls Spotty to help. Spotty runs! Spotty by Granddaughter, Granddaughter by Granny, Granny by Granddad, Granddad by the Turnip: pull and pull, no result!
Spotty calls Snowy to help. And Snowy comes quickly. Snowy by Spotty, Spotty by Granddaughter, Granddaughter by Granny, Granny by Granddad, Granddad by the Turnip: pull and pull, no result!
Well! Nothing to do! Snowy calls a mouse! It is always ready! The mouse by Snowy, Snowy by Spotty, Spotty by Granddaughter, Granddaughter by Granny, Granny by Granddad, Granddad by the Turnip: pull and pull…. Yes! The turnip is pulled out!
All children sing the Song “I am Happy”
