Белоснежка и семь гномов

Театрализованная постановка – прекрасное средство повышения мотивации к изучению иностранного языка, особенно у младших школьников. Данная разработка предназначена для учащихся 2-3 года обучения и идеальна для закрепления лексического и грамматического материала книги «Белоснежка и семь гномов» из серии «Читаем вместе». В постановке 14 действующих лиц, что позволяет каждому учащемуся принять участие в действии.

ACT 1

The Castle

1^st White Bird and 2^nd White Bird: Hi! We are white birds!

1^st White Bird: I live here, in the castle.

2nd White Bird: And I live in the forest. I came here to visit my sister.

1^st White Bird: I know everybody here.

(Snow-White enters, she is sweeping the floor)

2^nd White Bird: Who is the lovely girl?

1^st White Bird: She is our little princess. Her name is Snow-White. She is very kind.

2^nd White Bird: Princess? Why is she sweeping the floor?

1^st White Bird: Her wicked stepmother, the Queen, makes her work as a maid. Oh, here she is!

(Queen enters)

Queen: Snow-White? Lazy girl! Take out the rubbish!

Snow-White: Yes, Mother.

(Snow-White leaves)

Queen: Stupid girl! OK, Where is my magic mirror? (Comes up to the mirror) Yes, my dear, let’s talk. Well, Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most beautiful of all?

Magic mirror: You, my Queen, is beautiful, it’s true. But Snow-White is more beautiful than you.

Queen: What?!! No! You always say “You, my Queen, are the most beautiful of all.”

Magic Mirror: I cannot lie! Now Snow-White is more beautiful than you.

Queen: OK! We’ll live and see… Huntsman!

(Huntsman enters)

Huntsman: Yes, Your Majesty.

Queen: Tomorrow you will take Snow-White into the forest, kill her and bring me her heart in this red box! (Gives the huntsman a red box)

Huntsman: But, Your Majesty, I can’t.

Queen: Or I will off your head!

Huntsman: Yes, Your Majesty.

Queen: Go! (Huntsman leaves) I will be the most beautiful of all again! (Leaves)

2nd White Bird: No! Let’s fly to the forest! We must help Snow-White!

ACT 2

The forest

(Snow-White and Huntsman are in the forest. Snow-White is picking flowers. The huntsman comes up to her and raises his knife.)

Snow-White: No, please, don’t kill me!

Huntsman: I can’t do it. I’m sorry. The Queen wants to kill you. I must bring her your heart. Run away, poor girl! Hide in the woods and never come back!

Snow-White: Thank you! You’ve got a kind heart!

(Huntsman leaves)

Snow-White: White birds! Help me! I must hide! Maybe you know where I can stay!

1^st and 2^nd White Birds: Follow us!

(They come to the cottage)

Snow-White: A cottage! (Knocks at the door) Is there anybody in? No… (Comes in) Oh, there are 7 little chairs, 7 little plates, 7 little beds. Everything is dusty and dirty. I think seven untidy children live here. Let’s clean the house! (We hear the noise in the house)

2nd White Bird: No, they are not children! Look, they are coming!

(The 7 dwarfs enter)

Dwarfs (together): We are seven dwarfs! We work in the mine!

2^nd Dwarf: We have many diamonds!

3^rd Dwarf: We are very rich!

4^th Dwarf: We live in the cottage!

5^th Dwarf: Oh, look! What is it?

6^th Dwarf: Do you hear the noise?

7^th Dwarf: Maybe there is a ghost inside!

1^st Dwarf: Don’t be afraid! Let’s see… (Comes up to the cottage)

(Snow-White goes out of the house)

Dwarfs (together): A girl!

2^nd Dwarf: She is beautiful like an angel!

3^rd Dwarf: Who are you?

Snow-White: My name is Snow-White, I am a Princess. My stepmother, the Queen, wants to kill me. Please, don’t send me away! I can wash and cook.

Dwarfs (together): Cook! You stay!

ACT 3

The Castle

Queen: Where is this Huntsman? OK, let’s see. (Comes up to the mirror) Mirror, mirror on the wall, Who is the most beautiful of all?

Magic Mirror: You, my Queen, is beautiful, it’s true. But in the cottage of the seven dwarfs lives Snow-White. She is more beautiful than you.

Queen: No! I will kill her! Yes! I have a plan.

2^nd White Bird: What is she doing?

1^st White Bird: She is drinking a magic drink!

2^nd White Bird: Look! She turned into an ugly old woman!

Queen: Ha-ha-ha! And now we’ll prepare a surprise for Snow-White. One piece of the poisoned apple and Snow-White will sleep forever! She can be revived only by a kiss of love.

ACT 4

The forest. The Dwarfs’ cottage.

(Snow-White is sitting by the cottage, washing the dishes. The Queen enters.)

Queen: Are you alone, my dear? I have tasty apples. Do you want to try? (Gives a red apple to Snow-White) Oh, my heart! Give me some water, please!

Snow-White: Here you are, Granny.

Queen: You are very kind, my child. I will tell you a secret. This is a magic apple. Bite it and wish something.

Snow-White: I want to meet the Prince again, to marry him and to live happily together… (She bites the apple and falls down)

Queen: Yes! Now I am the most beautiful of all! (She leaves)

(The dwarfs enter)

4^th Dwarf: Snow-White, we are coming!

5^th Dwarf: We are hungry!

6^th Dwarf: Look! What is it? Is she sleeping?

7^th Dwarf: No! She is dead!

2^nd Dwarf: But she doesn’t look like a dead person!

3^rd Dwarf: She is as beautiful as before!

1^st Dwarf: We will build a glass coffin and place her in it. It will stand in the cave, and we will come and talk to our lovely Snow-White every day.

ACT 5

The forest. Near the cave.

(Snow-White is lying in the cave. The Prince enters.)

2^nd White Bird: Look! Who is it? Why is he so sad?

1^st White Bird: It’s the Prince. He loves Snow-White and wants to marry her.

Prince: I am looking for Snow-White everywhere. But nobody knows where she is.

1^st White Bird and 2^nd White Bird: Come here! She is here!

Prince: Snow-White! Is she dead? No, I don’t believe it!

(The Prince opens the coffin and kisses Snow-White. She opens her eyes.)

Snow-White: My Prince! It’s a dream!

Prince: No! I am here! Marry me! We will go to my castle and live happily together!

(The dwarfs enter.)

5^th Dwarf: Look! Our Snow-White is alive!

Dwarfs (together): Hurray!

2^nd White Bird: Good! Everybody is happy!

1^st White Bird: Yes. Bad magic doesn’t work when the two loving hearts are together.
