1: Christmas is a holiday, which is celebrated together with the New Year. For the British in December the 25th , and for us on January the 7th .
And to make your mood more Christmas, our competition is continued by pupils of the 6th form with the song “Santa’s coming for us”.
2. (“Santa’scomingforus”)
do you believe in the existence of Santa Claus?
1: The most important Christmas character is Santa Claus and he appeared thanks to a real person who lived in the 4th century. His name was Saint Nicholas, he was the patron saint of the largest city in America in New York.
2: And now on the stage are pupils from the 7th form with a song “Here comes Santa Claus”.
(“Here comes Santa Claus”)
1: Every time we love, every time we give, it's Christmas.
2: What did you say?
1: Don’t you know? This is the phrase of the famous actress Evans Dale, it translates as .... Every time we love … every time we give something in return and it's only on Christmas.
2: Yes, Christmas is a good holiday, but only cold, because it’s in winter.
1: And now about the winter will sing for us the pupils of the 2nd form with the song “Little snowflakes”.
(“Little snowflakes”.)
Look what I have. By the way, Alsu, it’s for you!
1: Why do I need a sock, and only one?
2: This is a tradition to hang Christmas stockings for gifts on the fireplace!
1: Thank you for your present.
2: Not at all. It’s interesting, why Santa Claus puts candy in his sock, and our Дед Мороз under the tree?
1: Elina, because Russian children will never eat sweets from socks. And about the gifts, are our next pupils of the school with poems.
1: Thank you, dears! You are good pupils!
What is it?
1: It's Christmas Tree. And you know that the first tree was made of goose feathers.
2: Wow ?! And where did this tradition come from?
1: The Christmas tree became a symbol of Christmas, the fact is that forever the green plant has become a symbol of life from ancient times. Oh, Elina, and you did not know ....
1 : It's very interesting, but now it will be more interesting, because on the stage there are girls from the 6th form with the song “Decorate the Christmas tree”. Greet them!
(“Decorate the Christmas tree”)
1: Elina, why does everybody sings, and we just talk and talk?
2: Can you correct this misunderstanding and sing?
1: Let's sing!
2: It'll be cool! Let’s listen to our next participant with the song “Last Christmas”. Greet you!
(“Last Christmas”)
1: Elina, listen! I'm going to ask you a riddle, but the riddle is not simple, it’s in English. What man can’t live inside the house?
2: So..what did you say???? A man who can not live inside the house ... Aah .. It's Snowman!
1: Yes, right you are, it’s a snowman.
1: Now listen to my snowy puzzle.
The snow is falling
The wind is blowing
The ground is white
All day and all night
Вед 2: Wait! I translate it! …. Oh ... it's winter! Guys, is it a winter in English? (Yes, it’s winter !!!) That's right!
1: And now, on the stage our last participant from the 9th form with the song “The wish I wish tonight”.
(“The wish I wish tonight”)
1: Today we learned a lot of new facts about Christmas. Listened to wonderful Christmas songs and it's time to take stock. I ask our jury to announce the winners in the nominations.
While, our jury discuss, enjoy yourself with the dancing from the pupils of the 8th form.
