Сценарий праздника: Christmas Day для 5 класса

На сцену, украшенную плакатами и поздравлениями на английском языке, выходят дети, начинающие праздник.

Pupil 1:
Today is the 25th of December. It’s Christmas time! Let`s meet Christmas together.  It’s Christmas! Merry Christmas.  It’s time for fun and laugh. I love you, merry Christmas, You’re the best of holidays.

Pupil 2.
Let’s meet Christmas! We have got Christmas in winter!
Winter is the season,
When mornings are dark.
And birds do not ring In the woods and the parks.
This is the season,
When children ski And Father Frost brings
The New Year Tree!

Pupil 3.

Winter means frost and snow. Snow is made of snowflakes.

Pupil 1.

Christmas Day is a family holiday in Great Britain. Traditionally, everyone gives each other presents; the British decorate their houses, put up Christmas Trees, and children write letters to Santa Claus.

Pupil 2.

Christmas is celebrated on December 25, but everyone gets ready for it long before that. The pre-Christmas period is called Advent, which starts four weeks before the holiday.

Pupil 3.

On Christmas Eve, before going to bed, children, in the hopes of getting better presents, leave biscuits or pieces of pie and some milk for Santa plus a carrot for his deer Rudolf.

Pupil 1.

Christmas Day is a time for miracles and realization of wishes. On this day everyone gives not only gifts but also postcards. And of course, everyone wishes each other “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!”.

На сцену выбегает Снеговик, его окружают дети и поют:

We have made a Snowman

Big and round, big and round!

We shall put the snowman

On the ground, on the ground!

Little children, make a ring!

You will dance and you will sing,

Dance and sing.

Hello, my dear friends! Oh, the New Year Tree is so beautiful today, so green and so bright. Children, let`s sing a song «Oh, Christmas Tree»

Thank you, my dear friends. Are you good at riddles?

На экране появляются загадки.

1 A little old woman with twelve children: some short, some long, some cold, some hot. What is it? (Дети в зале. «А Year».)

1. He comes at night,
   Or so they say!
   Then does his job,
   And goes away!

(Father Frost.)

3 In winter and in summer it stands in one colour. (A fur tree.) 

1. What man cannot live inside a house? (A snowman.)

Snowman.
Oh! You really know the riddles. Let`s sing a song «Jingle Bells». Father Christmas will hear us and come.

Are you Father Christmas?

Father Frost.

No, I am not Father Christmas. My name’s Father Frost. Father Christmas is in Britain now, he is very busy with his presents, so he asked me to visit your school and to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

A Happy Christmas to everyone
And I wish my dream comes true!
