Show-game

“The Field of Wonders”

Цели: -поддержание интереса к изучению иностранного языка;

-тренировка лексических навыков;

-развитие догадки и логического мышления;

-расширение сферы применения навыков и умений учащихся, приобретённых в учебном курсе, расширение языковой среды.

Objectives:-maintaining interest in the study of a foreign language,

- lexical skills-training;
            -the development of insights and logical thinking;
            -extension of the application of skills students acquired in the training course, the expansion of the language environment.

Оборудование: 1) вращающийся круг с указательной стрелкой, поверхность которого разделена на равные доли (секторы), означающие определённое количество баллов (5,10,15,20 и т.д.). Среди них есть сектор «+» (игрок имеет право открыть любую букву в заданном слове на классной доске) и сектор «приз» (возможность игроку взять приз или продолжить игру).

2) карточки с буквами, которые крепятся на доску обратной стороной.

3)иллюстрации-подсказки на доске.

4)призы.

5)музыкальное оформление.

6)презентация «Достопримечательности Лондона».

Equipment: 1) the rotating circle with an arrow pointing the surface of which is divided into equal parts (sectors), indicating a certain amount of points (5,10,15,20, etc.). Among them is the sector "+" (the player has the right to open any letter in a given word on the board) and the sector "prize" (the player to take the prize or continue the game.)

Предварительная подготовка:

1. заранее выбираются 9 участников для трёх туров.

2. Подготовить номера художественной самодеятельности на английском языке для музыкальных пауз во время игры.

1) pre-selected nine members for three rounds.
2) Prepare the numbers of amateur English intermission music during the game.

Ход игры.

(Звучит музыка- позывные игры)

Ведущий: Hello everybody! We’re glad to see you at the most exciting show-game “The Field of Wonders”! I’m happy to inform you that it is devoted to the sights of London.

Listen to the rules of the game!

You turn the circle and get points, which turn into prizes then. If your sector is “plus”, you can open any letter you like. If your sector is “prize” you can either take the prize or continue the game.

You have to name the letters and try to guess the word.

The winner is the student who will name the whole word.

So we are starting!

Первый тур.

Ведущий: I would like to invite the first three players.(первая тройка игроков выходит на игровое поле и представляется)

Pupil 1: I’m Kate. I’m in year 9. I like books, so I read a lot in my spare time. Sometimes I prefer watching TV. My favorite TV programmer is “Who wants to be a Millionaire”

Ведущий: Look at the board and listen to the task. This is the London’s Gallery dominates London's Trafalgar Square with its neo-classical columns and portico designed by William Wilkins adjoining the square where it has been pedestrians. What is it?

Ведущий:With great pleasure I invite the players for the second round of our game. Listen to the questions. Name the letters and don’t forget to cross them on your papers. So look at the board. Ведущий: We are to continue the game! Are you ready? Listen! It is now home to a stunning collection of European, Indian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Islamic artefacts ranging from ceramics, glass, metalwork and sculpture to costume, armour, weaponry and furniture.What is it?

Ведущий: I invite the three winners to play the fourth and the last part of our game today! Give them a round of applause! This is the most exciting moment?
