All learners will be able to:


  • listen to short story and answer questions;

  • read short story and understand the main information

  • practicevocabularywith support.

Most learners will be able to:

  • use most of the active vocabulary in the speech;

  • answer questions with minimum support.

Some learners will be able to:

  • ask questions and answer questions with basic words, phrases and short sentences using visuals, complete most of tasks about the animals correctly with no support


Assessment criteria

Learners have met this learning objective if they can:

  • participate actively in discussion; read short text, talk about activities using active vocabulary

Teacher:-Good afternoon children !

Pupils:Good afternoon teacher!

Teacher: How are you today?

Pupils: We are fine,thank you.

Teacher:Excellent! Today we will travel to the English week and you should go there with Dora.



Pupils: Yes!

Teacher: If you sing a song,Dora will come to you.

Pupils:Yes, let`s sing.

Children sing a song “Dora the explorer!”and Dora appears.

Dora:Hello my friends! I’m Dora.

Pupils: Hello Dora!

Dora:Do you want to travel with me?

Pupils:Yes

Dora: Well,let’s go….oh no,I forget my map.

You Must shout a little map.

Pupils: Little map,little map,come in little map.

Little map comes and sings a song “The Little map”

Little map: Hello my friends,I’m little map.

Ayana:Little map,we need your help.

Symbat:Little map,we can’t find the way.

Little map: I Can help you.I show you the way.

Little map shows them the way in the map.

Dora: we must go through river, mountain,gate.

All together:Yes, Let’s go.

Nurai: Where are we go?

All together:River

In that moment comes old Troll and sings a song.

Troll: Solve my task.

Pupils: Ok.

Task 1. Show me this activities and make a bridge.

You must go over this bridge.

All pupils one by one shows him activities.

Suggested answers: I can swim

I can run

I can jump

I can dance

Troll: Ok,you can go to the English week.

Pupils:Yes, Wedid it.

They sing a song and dance.

Nurai: Where are we go?

Pupils: Mountain.

Dora: Let’s go.

Than Troll appears and sings a song.

Troll: Solve my task.

Task 2. Matching the numbers.

Pupils one by one matches the numbers.Suggested answers:

22-twenty two

45-fourty five

Troll: Well done! You can go there.

Pupils: Yes, we did it!

They sing a song and dance “We did it”

After that

Nurai: Where are we go?

All together:Gate

Dora: Oh no, we haven’t a key.

Troll: Ha-ha-ha. You can’t enter to the English week.

Oh no, I have a stomach ache. I’m so hungry….

Dora: Poor old Troll…. I have some food in my backpack.

Little map: I have got some milk.Would you like some milk.

Ayana: I have got a fish. Would you like a fish?

Troll: Yes, thank you my friends. You can go to the English week.

Pupils: Yes. We did it

They all together sing,dance and go out.The school bell rings at that moment.

Teacher:Asemai wake up.Why are you sleeping?

Asemai: Where is Dora?Where are my friends? It was my dream.
