"ABC Festival" Праздник на английском языке для учащихся младшей школы
Развитие творческих способностей, создание условий для самовыражения и самореализации детей - одно из важнейших направлений современного языкового образования. Что бы вовлечь учащихся второго класса в мир английского языка, повысить интерес, мною и было разработано данное мероприятие. Часто в начальной школе проходят аналогичные праздники только по русскому языку. Дети как правило готовяться к таким мероприятиям с удовольствием, учат слова, обыгрывают песенки и сценки. Все это благоприятно, с эмоциональной точки зрения сказывается на мотивации. Ребенку уже не страшно учить и писать незнакомые буквы и слова. На урок английского языка он пойдет с интересом и процесс обучения будет проходить с удовольствием!

SCENE 1
Host: Ladies and gentlemen! Good afternoon!
Hostess: Dear teachers, boys and girls! We are very glad to see you at our ABC festival! Thank you for your coming.
Host: Look! Who is she?
Hostess: Why are you crying, poor little girl?
LRRH: My name is Red Riding Hood. What a silly question! Don’t you see my beautiful red cape with a hood? But I’m crying because I lost my way to my Granny’s house.
Host: Little Red Riding Hood, don’t cry! The pupils of our school are going to start our performance “ABC festival». In fact we are very busy now, we shall help you later, OK?
LRRH: No! I hate being alone. You must help me! I have to make my way through the magic forest to find my Granny’ house! I’m afraid of the Big Bad Wolf! I need friends so much!
Hostess: Be quiet, please! Don’t you see how many guests are at our school today.
LRRH: If you help me to find my Granny, I’ll stop crying.
Hostess: All right! Where does your Granny live?
LRRH: I don't know, but somewhere in the magic forest, I suppose.
Hostess: All right! We shall try to help you to find the way to your Granny’ house.
Host: By the way, where is your magic forest?
LRRH: I think – all around.
Host: What a strange idea! All right! Dear guests! The pupils are ready to introduce all the letters of the English alphabet to you.
Hostess: You are welcome, Letters!
SCENE 2
Letter A: A is for Apples and Apple-trees
You can see apples on apple-trees.
Letter B: B is for Books and for Bookcase.
I have many books in my bookcase.
Letter C: C is for Cat. My cat is gray,
And with me it likes to play.
Letter D: D is for Dog and for Doggy.
I have a dog, not a doggy.
Letter E: E is for Eight and for Eleven
How much is eight and eleven?
Letter F: F is for flowers: red and blue,
White and yellow and rosy, too.
Letter G: G is for Girl, and also for Garden.
I see a girl going to the garden.
Letter H: H is for Hand. I have two hands.
This is the way I clap my hands.
Letter I: I am a boy, I am eight.
l like to play with my sister Kate.
Letter J: J is for Jam. This is apple jam.
Jimmy likes it, and it is white.
Letter L: L is for Latter. This letter is for me.
It is from my sister, as you can see.
Letter M: M is for May and for May Day,
For March and for Mother’s Day.
Letter N: N is for Nine, Ninety and Ninety- nine.
Children, how much is ninety and nine?
Letter O: O is One. One and two is three.
Three little cats are in a tree.
Letter P: P is for Pencils. With them I can draw:
A red pen, a green three or blue door.
Letter Q: Q is for Questions: How are you?
How old are you? And How do you do?
Letter R: R is for Red. Many things are red.
What can be red? Do you know, Fred?
Letter S: S is for Street. This is my street.
There are a lot of trees in my street.
Letter T: T is for Tick and for Tock.
Tick – tock, says the clock.
Letter U: U is for Under, but not for At.
I am under the tree, says Pat.
Letter V: V is in Five and also in Seven,
It is in Twelve and in Eleven.
Letter W: W is for Winter when it is cold.
But I like winter and I like cold.
Letter X: X is in Six. Lets count up to six!
One, two, three, four, five, six!
Letter Y: Y is for a Yard where children play.
They play in the yard every day.
Letter Z: Z is for the Zoo. Let’s go to the Zoo.
I like to go to the Zoo. And you?
All Letters: We can read,
We can write,
We can speak English, too.
We can love learning English!
And what about you?
Host: Lets singing the song «ABC»
LRRH: You are such talented kids! O, I find the way to my Granny’s house! Good bye, dear pupils!
LRRH goes off.
Host: Good bye!
Hostess: Good luck! Our Letters we must to say Good bye for you, too! Thank you!
Letters: Good bye!
The pupils go off to music.
Host: Now we shall teach you some rules and good manners!
Hostess: 1. Don’t run across the road! Stop and look!
2. Don’ t write on the wall! Write in your notebook!
3. Don’t run in school! Always walk!
4. Listen to the teacher! Please, don’t talk!
Host: Dear pupils today you have learned English alphabet and some school rules! We wish you good marks and excellent behavior!
