The Palace of Westminster is one of the symbols of London, the place where the country's government meets. Located on the banks of the Thames in the London borough of Westminster.
The Palace of Westminster has 1,200 rooms, 100 staircases and 5 kilometers of corridors.
In August and September, when the Parliament is closed, you can take a guided tour of the entire building.
The Palace of Westminster stretches for more than 300 meters. Three tall towers stand out in this ensemble: the Central tower, the Victoria tower , and the Elizabeth tower, better known as big Ben.
During the tour, tourists are the first to see the oldest part of the building — Westminster hall.
The tourist route implies that visitors will pass:
St. Stephen's Hall;
Central hall
The house of lords in red and gold;
The long Royal gallery
The Royal dressing room
Members Lobby
Unique library of the House of Commons, which also offers guided tours
Any type of visit can be combined with an afternoon tea on the grounds of Westminster.
