Introduction. The Association of Composers and Composers of Uzbekistan (original name "Union of Composers of Uzbekistan") was established by the decision of the Council of People's Commissars of Uzbekistan 193203R in 1938. In order to ideologically and creatively unite composers and musicologists working in the country, the People's Artist of Uzbekistan, famous composer and conductor Tolibjon Sodiqov was officially authorized to form an association. In accordance with the resolution of the People's Commissars of the Government of the Republic of February 21, 1940 № 258, the first congress of the Union of Composers of Uzbekistan was scheduled for October 1941 and the members of the board were approved:.

The main part. People's Artist of Uzbekistan, famous composer, musician Tukhtasin Jalilov has a great place in the history of Uzbek music of the twentieth century. Benazir skillfully created great songs, lyrical songs and dance tunes, about forty musical dramas and comedies, opera "Tahir and Zuhra" (in collaboration with B. Brovtsin) and made a great contribution to the development of these genres in our country. The teacher sought creativity, worked tirelessly, and left a deep mark on the art of music with his multifaceted creative, leadership, and community activities. It should be noted that hundreds of his students are also working for the development of music in Uzbekistan. This great man was respected by the people of our country and the people as "Master".

Tokhtasin Jalilov was born in 1896 in the city of Andijan. From the age of 10, Yusufjon began to take part in folk festivals, village and city weddings with artists led by Changchi. He diligently learned the secrets of musical heritage from his teachers and friends. Yakubjon changchi, Ashurali Axun dutarchi, Gazat Axun gijjakchi, Zokir eshon doirachi, Orifjon dutorchi, Hayit Axun tanburchi, Rustam mehtar surnaychi, Ismat karnaychi, Sayfi qayrakchi, Berkinboy Fayziev, Dehqonboy were in the ensemble "Tashvikot aravasi". The team was first led by Arif Toshmatov (Arif Harmon), then Tukhtasin Jalilov.

Tukhtasin Jalilov also took part in the concert program of the exhibition of handicrafts in Moscow in 1923. From 1925 he worked in the Fergana theater troupe composed by Hamza, and the following year the famous artist M. Qoriyokubov was invited to the Uzbek State Ethnographic Ensemble in Samarkand. In 1927, the ensemble toured Moscow, Leningrad, Baku, Kazan and Ufa. In 1928 he was invited to the Uzbek State Musical Drama Theater in Andijan as a music director. In this theater, Tokhtasin Jalilov performed "Lolajon" (K. Yashin's poem), "Kashgar qizi", "Oyhon" (S.Abdulla's poems), "Comrades" (K.Yashin's poem), "Halima" (G.Zafari's poem), " Farhod and Shirin ”,“ Layli and Majnun ”(Sh. Khurshid's poems) selected melodies, songs and chants from the folk musical heritage.

Tokhtasin Jalilov has been appointed music director of the Uzbek State Musical Theater. G.Zafari's "Halima", K.Yashin's "Comrades" and the concert program. He reworked the music for these performances.

Tukhtasin Jalilov, M. Qoriyokubov, Tamarakhonim and Usta Olim Kamilov took part in the World Dance Festival in London in 1936 and won two prizes.

In 1936, the Uzbek State Philharmonic was founded in Tashkent under the leadership of M. Kariyakubov. The Philharmonic Society is preparing for the first decade of Uzbek art and literature in Moscow. Tokhtasin Jalilov was tasked with organizing and directing an Uzbek song and dance ensemble of 120 people. Under the guidance of the teacher, the ensemble toured Moscow, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Belarus.

At the end of 1939, the Uzbek State Musical Drama and Comedy Theater named after Muqimi was established. Tokhtasin Jalilov has been appointed director of the theater. His composing activities have been even more productive here. In collaboration with the playwright S.Abdulla, he staged the musical drama "Tahir and Zuhra", created in 1939. 1941 "Kurban Umarov" (play by S.Abdulla, in collaboration with composer G.Shperling); 1942 "Nurkhan" (play by K. Yashin, in collaboration with composer G. Sobitov); "Sword of Uzbekistan" in 1943 (H. Olimjon's poem, K. Yashin, Uygun and N. Pogodin, in collaboration with composers T. Sodikov, M. Burhanov, N. Hasanov, Klimov and Weinberg); 1943 "Centuries" (Harmonious poem, in collaboration with composer B. Nadezhdin); "Buds" in 1945 and "Dream" in 1947 (poem by S. Abdulla, in collaboration with composer B. Brovtsin); 1949 "Alpomish" (play by S.Abdulla, in collaboration with composer B.Nadejdin); 1949 "Muqimiy" (play by S.Abdulla, in collaboration with composer G.Mushel); In 1952 the music of "Nurkhan" was re-edited by G. Sobitov, in 1953 the music of "Tahir and Zuhra" was re-edited by B. Gienko; 1956 "Surmakhan" (play by B. Rakhimov, in collaboration with composer L. Stepanov); 1957 "Ravshan and Zulhumor" (play by K. Yashin, in collaboration with composer G. Mushel); "Istibdod" in 1957 (poem by S.Abdulla, in collaboration with composer G.Sobitov); 1962 "The Story of Fergana" (poem by H. Gulom, in collaboration with composer B. Zeidman); In 1962 he created the opera "Queen of the Field" (poem by Jalal Mashrabi) and in 1949 in collaboration with B. Brovtsin "Tahir and Zuhra". In 1977, the opera was re-edited.

Tokhtasin Jalilov, a scholar of Uzbek musical heritage, has been creatively searching for innovations over the years, striving for innovation and creating unique musical works. His first melody in a modern style was "Signal", "Er ekkanniki", "Oq oltin" (Words of humility), "Dovrug" (words by K. Ahmadi). He praised the Motherland, expressed in his songs and chants such delicate feelings as human dreams, human love. His songs "Hey, hur Vatan", "Azim Vatan", "Ona Vatan", "Farhod kahramonlari", "Olgina bos, bolam", "Yalla" (Uygun sozi) brought new melodies to the Uzbek singing art in accordance with the spirit of the times. . In addition, lyrical songs such as "Kokiling", "Kuylasam" (Uygun sozlari), "Bahor ayyomida" (Furqat poem), "Gulistanim mening" (Muqimiy poem) testify to the great potential of the author. It is hard to imagine Uzbek weddings without the teacher's song "Happy Weddings".

It should be noted that the teacher Tukhtasin Jalilov left a great spiritual and musical legacy. At the same time, he is the father of wonderful children who deserve the respect of the people. His eldest son Kholkhoja Tukhtasinov (1919-1971) was known as a skilful conductor, conductor and composer. His youngest son, Dehkon Tukhtasinov, is a choir conductor at the Hamza Tashkent Music School. He graduated from the Uzbek Opera Studio at the Moscow Conservatory and is a conductor at the Fergana Musical Drama and Comedy Theater. He was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Uzbekistan. Her daughter, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Etibor Jalilova, was a leading actress of the Muqimi Musical Theater. Khalida Jalilova graduated from the vocal faculty of the Tashkent State Conservatory and works as a singer and music teacher at Radio Tajikistan. Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Salohiddin Tukhtasinov has worked for many years as a leading musician in the Philharmonic.

Conclusion. In 1937, Tukhtasin Jalilov was awarded the honorary title of "People's Artist of Uzbekistan" for his great contribution to the development of music culture in Uzbekistan. In 1946 he was elected a deputy to the Supreme Soviet of Uzbekistan.

Tokhtasin Jalilov died in 1966.
