Introduction. The Association of Composers and Composers of Uzbekistan (original name "Union of Composers of Uzbekistan") was established by the decision of the Council of People's Commissars of Uzbekistan 193203R in 1938. In order to ideologically and creatively unite composers and musicologists working in the country, the People's Artist of Uzbekistan, famous composer and conductor Tolibjon Sodiqov was officially authorized to form an association. In accordance with the resolution of the People's Commissars of the Government of the Republic of February 21, 1940 № 258, the first congress of the Union of Composers of Uzbekistan was scheduled for October 1941 and the members of the jury were approved.

The main part. Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, famous composer Sabir Boboev has made a significant contribution to the modern musical culture of the republic through his creative and public activities. S. Boboev's operas, musical dramas and comedies, symphonic, vocal-symphonic and choral works, works for orchestra of Uzbek folk instruments, songs and romances have become our spiritual property.

Sabir Boboev was born on December 30, 1920 in Tashkent. After the death of his father in 1931, Sabir was brought up in an orphanage. There he joined an amateur circle and learned to play the dutar and tanbur. He studied at the Tashkent Industrial College, then at the preparatory course of the Pedagogical Institute.

In 1943, Sabir Boboev, on the advice of professor of the Tashkent Conservatory, musicologist EE Romanovskaya, entered the department of composition training at the conservatory. In the main stage he studied in the class of Professor BB Nadezhdin, and in 1949 he successfully graduated from the conservatory with a one-act opera "Emerald" based on the libretto by T. Tola.

During his student years, Sabir Boboev was a singer in the choir of Uzbek Radio, assistant chief choirmaster, and in 1947-1949 he was the artistic director of the song and dance ensemble of the Uzbek Philharmonic. Taking into account the artistic and professionalism of the musical works written during this period, S. Boboev in 1946 became a member of the Union of Composers of Uzbekistan. In 1948, at the first congress of the association, he was elected chairman of the board and served until 1955. At the same time, in 1951-1952 he taught music theory at the Tashkent Music School and Conservatory named after Hamza. 1958-1959 - Chairman of the Board of the Choir Society of Uzbekistan, 1960-1965 - Chairman of the Union of Composers of Uzbekistan, 1966-1969 - Conductor and Artistic Director of the Samarkand Opera and Ballet Theater, 1972-1976 - Artistic Director of the Uzbek State Philharmonic named after M. Fattoh), "Uzbekistan" (words by R. Bobojon) ), choral songs: "When the nightingale sings" (words of T.Tula), "Vatan" (words of N.Tashpolat), "Sendadur" (words of fame), "Gul sochar" and "Orazing" (words of Navoi), "I do not believe »(Words of M.Boboev),« Ey sabo »(words of Navoi),« Bu hol »(words of harmony),« To my friend »(words of H.Olimjon),« Beautiful valley »(words of T.Tola),« Your song »(Songs by H. Gulom) and romances; R.Bobojonov will sing five songs and T.Mirzo will sing three songs for children.

For the Uzbek orchestra of folk instruments, "Poema", "Holiday Overture" (1950) are distinguished by their cheerful melodic uplifting spirit, nationality, concise form, perfect professionalism, colorful orchestra. This work introduced the composer to the wind. "Holiday Overture", "Concertino" (1952) for orchestra of dust and Uzbek folk instruments is also one of the favorite works of musicians and listeners. Such a creative achievement inspired the composer to work more seriously on his profession, to create large and complex musical works. The following symphonic and vocal-symphonic works were soon written under his pen: two suites for symphony orchestra (1952, 1953), a symphonic poem based on the classic folk song "Segoh" (1956), "White gold to the words of T. Tola »Vocal-choreographic suite and vocal-symphonic poem" Holiday "(1955), especially the 4-part cantata" Harvest Holiday "(words of R.Bobojon, 1955) dedicated to the life of cotton farmers, its national melody, colorful the lyrical singing of the mirabboshi with choral songs, distinguished by the sounds of the mass choir in a closing solemn spirit. From the very first performance, the creative achievement and the artistic impact of the work were recognized.

In the whole creative activity of Sabir Boboev, composing music for stage plays is the main thing. He co-created the first musical comedy "Holiday in the field" and the musical drama "My shores" (plays by Sh. Sadulla and Z. Fatkhulin, 1954 and 1957) in collaboration with D. Zokirov, and independently in 1957 "Great Love" (B. Rakhmonov's poem) created a musical drama. It is no exaggeration to say that the musical drama "Vatan Ishqi" (play by Sh. Sadulla and Z. Fatkhulin) staged at the Muqimi Musical Theater in 1958 was a great creative achievement of the composer. In the following years, S. Boboev's musical comedy "Two Bracelets" (Sh. Sadulla's poem, 1962), "Mayna Hasanova" (A. Rahmat's poem, 1972), "Golden Belt" (Tolqin's poem, 1978), Musical dramas "Song of love" (play by T.Tlegenov, 1980), musical comedy "Iron cage" (play by H.Rasulov, 1982) and musical comedy "Queen of Shakhrisabz" (play by L.Gladkikh) (1986). ) created.

Sabir Boboev in collaboration with K. Yashin created the opera "Hamza". The opera "Hamza", dedicated to the famous poet, playwright, composer, public figure Hamza Hakimzoda Niyazi, was staged on May 27, 1961 and was warmly welcomed by the audience. On the basis of the musical drama "Vatan Ishqi" in 1973 (second edition 1985) he created the operas "Fidoyilar" (libretto by Sh. Sadulla and Z. Fatkhulin) and for children in 1969 on the basis of Uzbek folk tales "Yoriltosh" (libretto by Sh. Sadulla).

In his creative work, Sabir Boboev constantly composes songs, romances, choruses with and without accompaniment, each of which is difficult to list. In particular, he paid great attention to the genre of romance and found a unique style, the composer paid attention to the declamatory tones, based on the content of each poem. This is especially evident in the romances "Yor gone" (Oybek's poem), "Kalb" (S.Zunnunova's poem), "Meros" (A.Sadulla's poem), 4 poems by A.Mukhtor, poems by H.Khudoyberdieva. In addition, in the 90s, romances were written to 3 ghazals of Navoi, 11 of Mashrab, 5 of Furkat and Nodira. The choral songs he created for the unaccompanied choir, especially on the basis of Uzbek folk songs and chants: "Galdir", "Tanovar", "Segoh" are noteworthy.

Conclusion. Sabir Boboev was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Artist of Uzbekistan" in 1967, "El-Yurt Hurmati" and other orders in 1998 for his contribution to the development of music culture in Uzbekistan with his bright, versatile and serenum work.
