• жетоны с баллами;

Технологии: игровая, информационно-коммуникационная.

Структура урока:

1. Организационный момент: приветствие, объявление темы урока, правил игры, разминка.

2. "Своя игра".

3. Подведение итогов.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент:

Good afternoon everybody! Today we’ll have a very unusual lesson. Look around! Do you guess what our topic will be?

Yes, you’re right. It is about Australia. I think you've read many texts and done exercises and got useful information about Australia. So, welcome to take part in this competition. I hope this competition will show your knowledge of the matter.

First of all let’s divide into three teams according to the pictures (kangaroo, koala, emu) and choose captains and team names.

1. «Своя игра»

Правила игры:

В игре принимают участие 3 команды, в каждой по 6-7 человек. Игра проводится в три раунда.

В первых двух раундах команды по очереди выбирают тему и вопрос, стоимость каждого приведена в таблицах.

На обдумывание в первом раунде 10-15 секунд. Во втором 20-30 секунд.

При правильном ответе команда получает баллы в соответствии со стоимостью вопроса, при неправильном – такое же количество баллов снимается. Если команда, выбравшая вопрос, не ответила, то отвечает та команда, в которой первыми подняли руку, если подняли руки одновременно, вопрос переходит почасовой стрелке. При повторном неправильном ответе баллы так же снимаются. Баллы так же снимаются с команды за ненадлежащие поведение, за выкрики и за подсказки.

Каждый раунд заканчивается после ответа на все вопросы.

Второй раунд включает в себя вопросы, сформулированные на английском языке. Ответ засчитывается только тогда, когда он звучит на английском языке с использованием правильной грамматической конструкции. Если грамматическая конструкция не верна, добавляется только половина баллов.

В первых двух раундах предусмотрено по два особых вопроса «Кот в мешке», Команда, получившая такой вопрос, передает его другой команде для ответа, и вопрос Аукцион команды торгуются за него, и в результате он достаётся тому, кто сделал наибольшую ставку.

Третий раунд – это Финал. В него проходят только две команды набравшие наибольшее количество баллов. Вначале вам предлагается 7 возможных тем финального раунда на выбор. Вы по очереди убираете по одной теме, которая вам не нравится, до тех пор, пока не останется одна.

Вы отвечаете на него письменно. Предварительно каждая команда делает ставку, не превышающую числа заработанных командой баллов.

(40) - Животное на котором основана экономика Австралии. Его популяция в 10 раз превышает популяцию местного населения. (Овцы)

(50) – По древней легенде при сотворении мира этой птице досталось некрасивое серое оперение. Но, тем не менее, ее называют «летающий драгоценный камень». На Земле 84 вида таких птиц. Убить эту птицу считается большим грехом, это сулит человеку несчастье. С крика этой птицы в Австралии ежедневно начинаются радиопередачи. Назовите эту птицу? (Кукабарра или Зимородок-хохотун)

(30) - Одна из самых высокооплачиваемых актрис Голливуда. За главную роль в ленте База Лурмана «Мулен Руж», съемки которой проходили на ее родине - в Австралии, была отмечена критиками Золотым Глобусом в номинации лучшая актриса в музыкальном фильме. (Николь Кидман)

(40) - Один из знаменитейших русских боксеров, ныне живущий в Австралии. Он имеет восточную внешность и носит косу. (Костя Цзю)

(400) – Australia’s largest city famous for its theatre (Sydney. It’s population is about 3,5 million people. Also it is the largest seaport)

(500) – Famous Festival of Arts is held here every two years. (Adelaide)

Banjo Paterson wrote the words to the famous song in 1895. Let’s sing along!
