Dear Ann,
The weather in England is very changeable (изменчива). The best time of the year in England is spring. It’s warm and sunny. People plant ( сажать) a lot of flowers. The two worst winter months in Britain are January and February. They are cold and unpleasant. Englishmen usually spend time by the fireplace. But there is no snow in winter. Summer months are hot but rainy. So, they try to go abroad (заграница) for summer holidays. As for autumn it isn't so nice. It's a season of winds. They usually talk about the weather this time.
Dear Diana,
In Russia, in my town Urai, winter is very freezing and there is too much snow. Children can play snowballs, toboggan, ski, and skate. In spring it’s warm but rainy. A lot of people do the gardening this time. Summer is not very hot, but we can sometimes swim and play outside. And in autumn it’s rainy and windy. We usually rake leaves and pick up flowers and vegetables.
Make up a story of this season.
