I want you to look at the blackboard, screen, think a little and say what we are going to speak about. -Sure. We are going to speak about Russia. -By the way, there are many interesting facts about Russia. Our lesson is devoted to Russia, its history, scenery, food, traditions, and of course its capital-Moscow.

-What is the aim of the lesson? Write down our theme in your copy-books. Well, I'm sure you know much about Russia. What do you know about this country? Учащиеся отвечают на поставленный вопрос. Work in groups. Write, please, on the lists of paper, let’s do it by music of our hymn (Слайд 5). What words come to your mind when you pronounce the word “Russia”?
