“Travelling to the country of Mathematics”

Цели урока: активизировать и систематизировать лексические единицы по теме «Числительные. Счет 1-20», развивать умение проговаривать английские числа вслух, совершать математические действия, развивать речевые навыки и навыки письма, прививать самостоятельность, целеустремленность, повышать мотивацию к изучению английского языка и математики.

Оборудование: карточки с цифрами, картинки с изображениями разного количества предметов, ноутбук, проектор.

ХОД УРОКА.

I. Приветствие, сообщение темы урока.

T.: Good morning, children! How are you today? I’d like to propose you a visit to the Subject-land and its countries English and Maths.

II. Речевая зарядка.

T.: What is the date today? How old are you? How many lessons do you have today?

III. Основная часть.

T.: OK, children! Let’s do some tasks and sums now.

1. Работа с карточками – решение задач с проговариванием.

1. There are five books in the brown bag and four books in the black bag. How many books are there in two bags?

2. I have ten plums on my plate and Olga has seven plums on her plate. How many plums do we have?

3. We can see three cats on the green bench and two cats on the blue bench. How many cats can we see on two benches?

T.: Well done! Now look at the blackboard and do sums all together in chorus:

T.: Thanks a lot. Now who can say a rhyme about numbers?

T.: Very well, children! I see, you are a bit tired, let’s relax and do some exercises!

5. Работа с картинками.

T.: Now, look at the screen and answer the question; “How many…can you see in the picture?”

6. Игра «Волшебный квадрат».

T.: Here is a magic number square on the blackboard. Count the numbers in each column and line and write down the results.

7. Письменная работа на доске и в тетрадях.

T.: Now you are going to get a written task. Open your copy-books and write down today’s date. Look at the sentences and choose the right word.

5. How old are/is you?

T.:Children, do you like singing? Let’s sing a song “Ten little Indian boys”.

9. Упражнение «Звонок другу».
