Цели урока:

• Обучающие:

• отработать и закрепить лексику по теме в игровой форме;

• познакомить с  традициями празднования Нового Года в Великобритании, России и Китае;

• Развивающие:

• создать благоприятные условия для праздника;

• развивать у учащихся воображение, творческие способности;

• способствовать развитию словесно-логического мышления;

• способствовать умению общаться на иностранном языке;

• Воспитательные:

  • воспитание у       обучающихся интереса и уважения к культуре и традициям разных стран мира;

  • формировать у учащихся навыки группового взаимодействия

  • формировать у детей положительное отношение к иностранному языку

  • способствовать эстетическому развитию учащихся

Подготовительный этап:

1. Создание текстов  “Traditions of celebrating New Year in Russia, Great Britain, China”.

2. Деление класса на 3 группы.

3. Каждой группе предложены тексты, учащиеся сами выбирают понравившеюся тему.

4. Индивидуальная работа с учащимися:

• Инструктаж по работе с текстами;

• Помощь учащимся в создании презентаций по теме “Traditions of celebrating New Year in Russia, Great Britain, China”.

–And what is your favourite winter holiday? (New Year) Of course, New Year.

3. Знакомство с целями и задачами урока

New Year is a beautiful holiday which is loved by children and adults all over the world. It is celebrated everywhere, but every country has there’s own traditions and customs of celebrating it. Today we have an unusual lesson, a lesson of travelling and we shall make a tour to some countries and visit New Year parties there. So letיs decide the route of our travelling.

• Now tell me please what foreign language do you study at school? (English)

• Who knows what country is English spoken as the official language? (Great Britain). Look at the map and your globes and try to find Great Britain.

• Do you know the capitol of Great Britain? (London)

So, the first stop of our travelling will be London.

• What country do we live in? (Russia)

• Try to find Russia on your globes and of course you know the capitol of Russia, it is ………(Moscow)

The second stop of our travelling will be Moscow.

• Now look at the map who knows the name of this country? (China)

• Do you know the capitol of China? The capital of China is Beijing.

So, the last stop of our travelling will be Beijing.

During our travelling you'll have to do some tasks to find out the differences and similarities in traditions of celebrating New Year in Great Britain, Russia and China. • Do you know the meaning of this word? Prosperity means благополучие, процветание. It doesnיt matter where do you live and celebrate New Year, but in every country people wish each other happiness and prosperity! Now I want you to find some more New Year traditions which unite (объединяют) Great Britain, Russia and China.

• Look at the blackboard and read in chain all these New Year traditions. (ребята читают и переводят по цепочке новогодние традиции с доски). Now Iיll give you 1 minute to tick of (отметить галочкой) those traditions which are popular in Great Britain, Russia and China. Учащиеся отмечают галочкой традиции, которые встречаются в их стране.

• Letיs check up your answers. Учащиеся читают свои традиции, а учитель на доске отмечает галочкой что получилось.

• Good for you! Our exciting travelling comes to an end. Today we have found the differences and similarities in traditions of celebrating New Year in Great Britain, Russia and China. Count your snowflakes. Those who has got more snowflakes get 5 and the others 5- and 4.

• Write down your hometask. At home youיll have to write down your New Yearיs Resolutions on this leaves. Я предлагаю вам стать немножечко лучше, перечислив все обещания, которые вы дадите друг другу за новогодним праздником. Когда Вы говорите, что начинаете жизнь с чистого листа, вы заявляете, что вы переосмыслили свои предыдущие поступки, свои промахи и неудачи и желаете изменить себя и свои привычки, начать как бы свою жизнь с чистого листа.

And at the end of our lesson I want to say an old Chinese wisdom: The real happiness comes not to those who gets presents, but those who presents give! Счастлив не тот, кто получает подарок, а тот, кто подарок делает.

• The history of celebration New Year in Russia is very interesting. Before the fifteenth century people celebrated New Year on the 1^st of March. Since the fifteenth century people began to celebrate it on the 1^st of September. And since 1700 Peter the 1^st

established the celebration of New Year on the 1^st of January as in other European countries.

• New Year is the favourite holiday for Russian people. Every family comes together at the New Year supper.The New Year table consists of the Russian salad (салат Оливье), fried chicken and of course thereיs a lot of sweets and desserts.
