Итоговый урок по пройденным темам «Hello», “Nice to You”, “Animals”, “Clothes” в V классе (первый год обучения) построен на основе популярного телешоу «Последний герой».

Цели урока: проверка сформированности у учащихся техники чтения, произнесения слов, знания алфавита, лексики, умения рассказать о себе и высказываться по пройденным темам.

Оборудование урока: картина с изображением острова, транскрипционные значки; карточки со словами (I, II, тип слога), записка-текст на доске (с пропущенными словами), раздаточный материал (карточки для выполнения заданий по чтению и письму), кассета со звукозаписью (песня “See Them Walk…”); игрушки.

План урока

Звучит музыка (вступление к программе «Последний герой»).

Teacher (T): Do you know this music? Do you watch this programme (“The Last Hero”). Do you like it? Let’s take part in this programme. This is our island. Let’s name it. (Дети придумывают название острова.)

Our game is starting. Try to speak only English.

1. Name the sounds. Say as many words as you can with them.

1. T: It is hot on the island. There is no coke or juice there. Let’s imagine that we are in a cafe.

P₂: Fine, thanks, and you?

P₂: What do you like?

P₁: I like mineral water.

1. T: There are many animals on the island. What animals do you know? Name them in the picture.

T: (показывает игрушечную обезьянку): What is it?

P: It is a monkey.

T: The monkey will be your friend, it will give you bananas if you recite a poem about it.

Mama called the doctor and the doctor said

“No more monkeys jumping on the bed”.

P₁, P₂ продолжают: “Two little monkeys…”, “Three little monkeys…”.

1. T: Who has the best memory (состязаются два ученика, делая шаг, учащийся называет животное).

1. T: You have got pets, haven’t you? Tell us about them (учащиеся рассказывают о своем животном, выигрывает тот, чей рассказ интереснее; ученики показывают рисунки животных).

1. T: You mustn’t be sad. You have a lot of time for singing and dancing. Let’s sing the song “A Puppet Theatre” (учащиеся поют и танцуют под звукозапись).

1. T: Have you heard of drifting bottles? This is one of those bottles. There is a letter (a note) in it, but I can’t read it. Help me, please. (Работа с карточками.)

1. Find the ‘stranger’. This exercise will help you to read and understand the letter.

1) nose, rose, from My … is Ben.

2) red, ten, street I am … .

3) rat, name, fat I am … London.

4) sit, nine, big I live in Oxford … .

5) dog, not, sport My favourite … is tennis.

6) take, apple, plate My favourite fruit is … .

T: Now you can read the letter. (P₁ читает письмо.)

1. There are two more notes. Choose the words and read them according to the rules of reading.

(Один ряд группирует слова по первому типу слова, другой – по второму.)

Stand, plate, pen, pencil, like, flag, red, desk, bed, name, nose, dog, apple, five, lip, student, go, street, stop.

(Представитель от каждого ряда читает слова.)

1. T: If you guess these words, you’ll get parcels with clothes, food, tous.

(Каждый учащийся отгадывает зашифрованное слово.)

1. T: Our game is over. The jury will tell us if we are ready to live on our island.

(Жюри подводит итоги, а учащиеся оставляют свой автограф на картинке с изображением острова.)

T: You can write your name in the picture of the island. Compose your own letter at home. Your classmates should guess the missing words.
