1.The theme of the lesson: Money and its functions. National currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ordinal and fractional numerals.

2.Type of the lesson: Combined lessons

3.The aim of the lesson: getting more information about money, activation of vocabulary and grammatical material in tokens.

4.Objectives:

4.1. Educational: To teach students to use the vocabulary and grammatical material in their speech.

To acquaint students with Money and its functions. To explain the using of numerals.

4.2.: Educative: To bring up such qualities as: responsibility, bonhomie and consciousness in mastering of teaching material

4.3.Developing: to develop speaking skills, enrich students’ vocabulary upon the theme. To develop skills of dialogical and monological speech. To develop students’ creative abilities.

5. Prospective results:

5.1. The students must understand: the meaning of vocabulary upon the theme, the using these words.

5.2.The students must have the valuable directions : development of communicative competence, demonstration of interest to the studying British English.

5.3.The students must be able : to express their thoughts, answer the question upon the theme and explain the rules.

T – There are many ways for people to get money and even more ways to spend it. Read the texts in your worksheets to find it out. Fill in the table according to the information given by your heroes. Pay attention to what you are to find out. Then you should report your results to other groups.


Now report the results of your investigation for the whole group for everybody to know the opinions of your heroes, fill in the table according to what you hear.
