Teacher’s Word:

Every language is impossible without phonetics. Phonetics is the music for any language and how we pronounce all sounds depends whether people like our pronunciation or not. I try to improve pupils pronunciation from a primary school with the help of songs, rhymes, patters, provebs. There are many sounds in English which are not exist in Russian or Kazakh.

They are [h] [w]. My task is to teach my younger students to pronounce English words correctly.

Teacher’s Word:

I try to improve pupils pronunciation from a primary school with the help of songs, rhymes, patters, provebs. There are many sounds in English which are not exist in Russian or Kazakh.

They are [h] [w]. My task is to teach my younger students to pronounce English words correctly.

Procedure of the Lesson.

I 1. Greeting: «Good morning, good morning,

Good morning to you!

Good morning, good morning,

We are glad to see you!»

2. Task of the Lesson: Work with English sounds through rhymes, a song, patters, and some

Proverbs.

  1. Warning up: Look at the interactive board. You see different sounds. Repeat them after

me: [ai - oi] [ei – ai] [oi – ei] [au – ou] [i – i:] [e – i] [s - z ] [z - s] [h – g]

II 1. Let’s remember our rhymes and play them:

1. «Here is my mother,

Here is my father,

Here is my sister.

Here is my brother.

My mother is a teacher,

My father is a doctor,

My sister is a singer,

My brother is a pupil!».

2. Breakfast in the morning

Dinner in the day;

Tea comes after dinner,

Then comes time to play.

Supper in the evening

When the sky is red,

Then the day is over

And we go to bed.

2. What provebs about home do you know?

- East or West, Home is Best.

- There is no Place Like Home.

3. What can you Tell us about Your family?

a) My family is small. I have got a father and a mother. I love them very much, but I want

to have a brother or a sister.

b) My family is friendly. My grandparents live with us, Uncles and aunts often come to see us. I’m glad to see them.

c) I love my family too. My best friend is my father. I like to be with him very much.

4. You are luckly to have such good families Let’s remember and play «The Cat and the Mouse».

«Little mouse, little mouse,

Where is your house?»

«Little cat, little cat,

I have no flat.

I am a poor mouse,

I have no house».

«Little mouse, little mouse,

Come to my house».

«Little cat, little cat,

I cannot do that,

You want to eat me.

5. I See you are tired. Stand up and do:

«Clap, clap, clap your hands

Clap your hands together,

Clap, clap, clap your hands,

Clap your hands together!

Stamp, stamp, stamp your feet,

Stamp your feet together.

Stamp, stamp, stamp your feet,

Stamp your feet together».

  1. Let’s sings our song, use I, we, they.

    1. I like to run

I like to jump,

It’s fun.

I like to play,

I like to dance. It’s fun.

b) We like to run.

We like to jump.

It’s fun.

We like to play

We like to dance

It’s fun.

    1. They like to run,

They like to jump.

It’s fun.

They like to play.

They like to dance.

It’s fun.

  1. Now remember our patters:

I like my Bunny.

Bears like honey.

Girls like cats,

Cats like rats.

Boys like dogs.

Storks like frogs.

Mike like cheese.

Sparrows like peas.

Owls like mice.

I like rice.

Birds like grain.

Say it again.

III Evaluation of the lesson.

Such kind of Lesson may be used by teachers in the second, third forms as a demonstrative lesson of using English Sounds.
