The country is the second largest of the former Soviet republics with a total land area of over 2,724.900 million square kilometers. MEDEU
The world's famous skating rink Medeu was built in 1972 in a picturesque gorge located 15 km. from Almaty. Its 10,500 sq. meter ice area is the best place for outdoor world competitions in speed skating, Russian hockey figure skating and other sports event! Special refrigerating equipment provides the ice-cover of the skating field 8 months a year and ice tracks are kept ready for skating all year1 round. Over 120 world records have been set there by the world’s strongest skaters. It is open for public skating December through March. Admission: about US $4. Skates rent are available on the first floor outside of the rink. A hotel (the Premier Medeu ) is located near the rink. At 1691-metel above sea level, nature lover will find beautiful mountain scene) surrounding the skating rink. The Medeu Gorge is bordered by mountain ridges: Kim asars on the west, Kabyrgatau on its east, and Kunbel on the south-east. A road runs through Medeu gorge towards the Mynzhylky gorge. The gorge has 21,000 hectare of forests with birches, Tien Shan spruces, and mountain ashes.
One of the attractions is a dike built in the valley of the Kishkene Almaty River to protect the city from landslides. The dike's collector has an impressive capacity of 6,000,000 cubic meters of water. It is this dike that has kept back a disastrous landscape in 1973.

THE UK
TheUK is the shortened word of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Great Britain includes England, Scotland, and Wales and Northern Ireland. Although Britain is a unitary state, the countries of in have separate national identities, variations in culture and tradition.
England is predominantly a lowland country, with the Pennine Chain, the Cumbrian mountains and the Yorkshire moorlands in the north. Wales is a country of hills and mountains. Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis (1,343 Hi i 106 ft) is in the central highlands of Scotland. Northern Ireland is at its nearistpoint only 21 km (13 miles) from Scotland.
Britain has frequent weather changes through the seasonal cycle of winter, spring, summer and autumn. Rainfall is fairly well distributed throughout the year.
People in the four lands of Britain come from ancient sources:
The ancient Celtic people who inhabited western and central Europe;
The Angles, Saxons and Jutes - Germanic people who came to Britain from the third centure

Hi! It's me again. There is plenty to do after school hours, particularly sport which I enjoy most. I love many sports but best of all football. Almost all my friends are in our football team. We train hard and we often play for the school in various regional youth tournaments. Our coach has taught us all rigid rules which must be strictly observed. The last game we played ended in a draw - 3:3. And though we know the famous Olympic quotation "The most important thing is not to win, but to take part", we all want to win some day.

Future in the Past.
If the verb in the Main Clause is in the Past, the verbs in the Subordinate Clause must be in Future in the Past. The auxiliary verbs "should" and "would" are used to form Future in the Past. "Should" replaces "shall" and "would" replaces "will".
Examples:
He knows that I shall come here again tomorrow. He knew that I should come here again the next day.
She promises they will finish the work soon. She promised they would finish the work soon.
