Разработка современного урока с использованием методики электронных образовательных платформ.
Класс: 8
Тема: Грамматика. Употребление герундия и инфинитива.
Задачи урока: организовать систематизацию грамматического материала и тренировку этого материала в речи, формирование филологического кругозора учащихся, развитие навыков говорения, чтения, умение планировать свою речевую деятельность воспитывать настойчивость в преодолении трудностей
Начало урока
1. Приветствие. Good morning, How are you today?
2. Тема и цель урока. На доске написаны 3 предложения.
1 I’d prefer tobepoor and happy than rich and miserable.
2 I love walking barefoot in the sand.
3 Не may come if you invite him.
Вопрос к Ss: Look at these sentences. What is the topic of our lеsson?
Today We’ll practice grammar . Infinitive and –ing form.
Определение задач и цели урока.
Objectives: 1)revise the theory 2) do the ex-s , make up own sentences
Aim: improve English grammar
3. Фонетическая разминка – работа со стихотворением (у каждого на листах)
For Gerunds
Admit, consider, recollect, recall, deny, detest
Suggest, remember, understand
I bet, I’ll do the test.
Some verbs I like – dislike and hate, adore, resent, enjoy
If I remember all of them, I will be full of joy
But then imagine, mention, keep,
discuss the verbs, and mind
I never miss the chance and risk
My luck will all be mine.
Avoid delay, but fancy love
Adore it all the way
Include, involve and practice this
Postpone it then no way!
But if postponed with no excuse
I must be strong and wise
I know that once the time will pass
And I’ll deserve the prize!
For Infinitives
I want to know the verbs infinitives to use
They are as follows: fail, expect, demand, arrange, refuse
I hope to manage this hard task
I promise and intend to plan, prepare and forget))
Expect me to pretend))
Let me complete this endless list
I want and wish and tend
Now I decide and I agree to never hesitate!!
It looks like words of prayer
I murmur it all day
Though my success is near
If I never fade away!
4.Reading
Ex.1 a) Understanding infinitive/-ingforms
Have Ss read text and refer them to the highlighted –ing and infinitive forms.
Write different cases from rubric on the board and have Ss find examples in text and which form is used in each case.
Elicit answers and write them under each case on the board and check for understanding.
Answer Key
after modal verbs = bare infinitive form e.g. could mean, should take, may know
to show purpose = infinitive form e.g. trying to tell you
after certain verbs (decide, appear) =infinitive form e.g. decide to run
after prepositions = -ing form e.g. of predicting
as a noun = -ing form e.g. hearing
after expressions (I’m busy etc) = -ing form e.g. were very busy looking
after certain verbs (fancy, start, avoid, spend, imagine, suggest etc) = ing form e.g. started acting
