Theme: Work over the text “Shopping”
Aims: Revision of Past Simple through exercises and work over the text.
PWBAT make up affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences in Past Simple, memorize words, answer the questions, disagree, and retell the text.
to bring up respect to each other, skills of individual work
to develop writing, reading, speaking skills, memory, translation.
The material used: interactive board, flipchart, cards.

Warm-up:
Questions: What is the weather like today? Who is absent? What date is it today?
How are you? What was the weather like yesterday? What did you do yesterday?
Revision of Past Simple:
Today we’ll revise Past Simple and work over the text “Shopping”. First of all let’s divide into 2 groups, we’ll play the game “Zeros and Crosses”. Look at the blackboard, each group should choose one square and make up the correct sentences.
Work over the text:
Very good! And now we’ll work over the text “Shopping”. What associations do you have with the word “shopping”? Do you like to go shopping? Did you go shopping yesterday? What did you buy? What can we buy at the butcher’s, at the baker’s, at the greengrocer’s?
Work over words:
There are 7 words (read, translate, repeat, memorize, write down, change their exercise-books and check)

4.2 Work over the text (read, translate)
Shoping
There are many shops and supermarkets in our city. They are Food mart, Sansara, Max, Tabys, Krokus and other. My family had a shopping day yesterday. It was Saturday. We got up early that day. Early to rise and early to bed makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. My father and I went to Max because it is near to our house. In the morning we asked our mother what we need. We took bags and went to the shop. First of all we went to the butcher’s store. We bought sausage, meat, fish, and eggs there. In the baker’s store we bought sweets, cakes, bread and buns. In the greengrocer’s store we bought fresh vegetables and fruit such as carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, apples, lemons. An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Last week we had our mother’s birthday. We prepared everything for this holiday: we bought food and a present for her. We wanted to make her happy. She is a woman of taste, so we bought a perfume. She was very pleased and thanked for our shopping.

4.4. Retelling of the text (30 words).
After each level, pupils get plus or minus for their answers. At the end of the lesson they get marks(if they have 4pluses they get “5”. 3 pluses-“4”, 2 pluses “3”)
