Тема: Determiners and quantifiers
Тип учебного занятия:урок повторения,систематизации и обобщения знаний, закрепления умений
Цель: Совершенствование, систематизация и закрепление грамматических навыков
Задачи:
практические: - тренировка ранее введенного грамматического материала;- практика учащихся в применении навыков.
2) общеобразовательные: - расширение словарного запаса; - систематизация, обобщение и закрепление пройденного материала;- расширение общего кругозора.
3) воспитательные: - формирование навыков интеллектуального труда;- дальнейшее формирование интереса к предмету;- воспитание трудолюбия и активности, самостоятельности.
4) развивающие: - развитие языковой догадки; - развитие памяти, мышления, воображения; - развитие умения работать самостоятельно.
Оснащениеурока: Solutions Upper-Intermediate student’s book and workbook, компьютер, доска.
Ход урока
Организационный момент:
T: Stand up, please. Good morning, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you. How are you?
S: Good morning, Kseniya Vladimirovna. I’m fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m fine too, thank you, sit down, please. Today we’re going to continue speaking about determiners. Let’s begin our lesson with a tongue twister. Look at the blackboard.

Т: Very well! Before we start doing exercises, answer my questions. What are determiners?
S: Determiners come before a noun and show how the noun is being used.
T: What do they include?
S: They include articles, possessive adjectives, demonstrative adjectives and quantifiers.
T: What quantifiers do you know?
S: All, both, many, each…
T: What quantifiers can be followed by “of”?
S: most of, a few of, several of, all of, each of, many of…
T: Which cannot be followed?
S: no, every.

T: Well done! Now let’s check your homework. What was it for today?
S: Ex.4, p.12 workbook and exercises on the papers.
T: Have you got any questions about the exercises on the papers? Is everything clear?
S: We have no questions, everything is clear.
T: Hand in your papers. Open your workbooks p.12, let’s check ex.4. The task is to complete or write a sentence so that it means the same as the first sentence.
S, begin, please and try to translate the sentences.

T: Good job! Let’s continue to work and let’s do ex.5. You should choose the correct determiner to complete the sentences. You’ve got 3 minutes to look through the ex., then we’ll check it.
