Good morning, sit down please. I’m very glad to see you. Who is absent today? What’s the matter with him/her? How are you today?

Do you like holidays? What holidays do you prefer? Why? Give your reasons? What do you know about American or English holidays? As you have understood we are going to speak today about holidays and especially about Christmas. At home you have read the text “American Christmas”. Was the information new? Was it interesting? Speak about American Christmas. Try to compare it with the celebration of the New Year in our country (discuss it with your partner).

Your home task was to either to write the composition or to prepare the report about the way the New Year & Christmas are celebrated in other countries. Now please hand in your compositions and the rest get ready to present your reports.

We have already finished with you the topic “Conditional Sentences”, we know three types of such statements.
