План открытого урока по теме

“Family values” в 9 классе по программе углубленного изучения английского языка О.В. Афанасьевой, И.В. Михеевой, Н.В. Языковой.

Цели урока: применение активных форм организации учебной

деятельности с использованием компьютерного оборудования.

Задачи урока:

Образовательные:

1. продолжить формирование знаний учащихся по теме «Счастливая семья»;

2. продолжить формирование словарного запаса учащихся через использование новых лексических единиц в иных ситуациях общения;

Развивающие:

1. совершенствование речевых навыков учащихся (диалогическая речь);

2. развитие умения аудировать с целью извлечения детальной информации;

3. развитие памяти, способности к адекватным высказываниям на английском языке;

4. продолжить умение учащихся работать в парах с целью формирования социально – коммуникативной компетентности;

Воспитательные:

1. воспитание у учащихся уважительного отношения друг к другу;

2. воспитание любви к родной культуре;

3. формирование эмоционально-личностного отношения учащихся к изучаемому материалу.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент

T: Hello, dear children! I am very glad to see you! Are you OK? Then, let’s start our today’s work.

T: I want you to pay attention to these pictures. I believe that it won’t be very difficult for you to guess what will be the topic of our today’s lesson. Your ideas, please!

T: Surely you are right. Look at the blackboard, the topic of our lesson is “A Happy Family”.

T: But what shall we discuss at the lesson? What themes are closely connected with the main topic of the lesson?

2. Фонетическая разминка T: So let’s do phonetic exercises. (Слайд)

[e] – stepbrother, stepsister, wedding

[æ] – remarry, marriage, single-parent family

[ɔː] – divorce, divorced, daughter-in-law

[g] -  engagement, single, groom

T: While speaking on our today’s topic it will be necessary to pay attention to some words and expressions. Let’s train them:

a friendly family the head of the family

relatives to keep the house

a perfect family to enjoy quiet family evenings

a marriage of love to visit friends

a marriage of convenience to receive friends

common property to discuss everyday affairs

common ideas to take care of children

4. Listening. Listen to Daniel and Emma speaking about what annoys them in their parents and say which of the following statements are true and which are false.

T. And now tell me what annoys Daniel and Emma in their parents.

5. Grammar

Maybe you hear there some sentences in Active Voice and in Passive Voice. Let’s remember the rules of forming Passive Voice in Past, Present and Future Tenses. (Слайд)

6. Training Passive Voice. Let’s train these rules making new sentences. You have to change Active Voice.

1. My aunt throws a family reunion party with loads of food and entertaiment.

2. We play a few games of bowling.

3. My parents joined us once.

4. I`ll invite them to come to the bowling alley on Thanksgiving Day.

5. Each time a family member does a good deed, they tie a red, gold, or white ribbon on the tree in front of the house.

6. We recollect these good deeds on Christmas Eve.

7. We give all the kids new pajamas on this day.

8. And we play "Secret Santa" to another family or to each other.

9. We took our daughter on her first camping trip when she was 6 months old.

7. Физминутка. Watch a motivational video about meaning of the family in our lives.

8. Тренировка монологической речи

Everyone who has a happy family can consider themselves to be in luck. To have loving and caring parents, brothers and sisters is really very important. And it doesn’t matter in what country you live. In Russian and English we have many proverbs about family. Read some of them, please. How do you understand them?

There is no place like home.

Every day is not Sunday.

Like father like son.

9. Тренировка диалогической речи

Unfortunately, sometimes there are some misunderstandings and even conflicts in families. But we should learn how to solve these problems. Now I want you making dialogues in pairs. Imagine that you are relatives, you can choose what kind of relatives you are. You have to show us the conflict and how you can cope with it.

10.Работа в группах. Презентация плакатов. What is happy family for you?

It doesn’t matter where you live, I mean in what country. Happy families are happy everywhere.

You have to work in small groups. Think about what happy family is for you, prepare several words and poster.

11. Homework. Composition “How I see my future family”

12. Подведение итогов урока. Рефлексия. (Слайд) What did you do at the lesson? Will you try to finish my sentence which is on the whiteboard?
