What is he? What is he famous for?


Yes, he is one of the most famous singers in the world. He sings in most famous operas, such as Covent Garden, La Scala, Metropolitan Opera, L’Opera( France), etc. His manner of singing is very lyrical and if once you hear him, you will never forget his voice.

The next is Elvis Presley. What do you know about him?


Right you are. Elvis Presley is an American singer, the king of the Rock-n- Roll, as his fans call him. His first songs: “ That’s all right”, “Good rockin night”, “ Baby, let’s play house”, etc became the classics of Rock-n-Roll. It should be mentioned that at that time his music wasn’t called Rock-n-Roll but it was considered to be a kind of cantry.

The next is The Beatles. What are they?



The Beatles are one of Britain’s most influential rock groups, first performing in 1959 in Liverpool. The group included Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Star. They broke up in 1971. Their song “ A day in the life” was recognized the best Britain song ever.

Look at their photo and listen to their song “Yesterday”.


And the last is Mirei Mattier.


Yes, she is a French singer. Her first song was “Jezebel” . It was very successful, many thought that she was Edith Piaf , because their voices were similar. The most famous song of hers is “ Pardonnez-moi”.
