ZHELEZNOVODSK.
A proud and brave bird is the eagle that holds in its claws a snake. This is the symbol of the Caucasian Mineral Water Region. It is especially beautiful at the foot of snow-white mountain Elbrus, which crowns the range of magnificent mountains.
If you look at the resort cities of the Caucasian Mineral Water region from the high of the eagle flight, then they will seem to you like precious pearls scattered in lush greenery of parks and forests with streams and honey meadows.
Today this priceless treasures are known all over the world. Thousands of people rush here for the best wealth - health. They also visit these places to enjoy the exotic beauty of the region.
Let's start a fairy tale voyage. You are in Zheleznovodsk - in the most picturesque of the resort cities. It is hidden in the valley between the mountains Beshtau and Zheleznaya. The unique beauty of the thick forest that covers the mountains, the ultimate purity and freshness of the air, and the curative mineral springs add special flavours to Zheleznovodsk.
The words of the famous musician M.A.Balakirev come to mind, "Zheleznovodsk is an amazing place, you can imagine nothing of the kind. It is also impossible to describe. Even if it is possible to communicate an idea with words orally, in writing you must be Lermontov to describe this nature nicely and skillfully".
The nature and the climate of the area are unique. The city differs from others by its gorgeous and various greenery.
What will doctors cure you of in Zheleznovodsk? The health centres of the city specialize in the treatment of gastric diseases, such as gastric ulcer, duodenum ulcer and pancreas disorders. Urological treatment is the second specialization of the city.
There are 12 sanatoria in Zheleznovodsk, a resort polyclinic and four guest houses. They are equipped with the latest designs and use the newest recomendations of medical science and practice.
Our guests are especially satisfied with the health centres as "Gorny Vozdukh", "Dubovaya Roscha","Zheleznovodsk","Kavkaz", the Kirov sanatorium, and sanatoria for children: the Krupskaya, "Dubrava" and "Salut".
You will be treated not only by the professional doctors here, whose knowledge and experience are the major wealth of the resort, but also by the "Doctor Climate". By the time you get rid of weariness and the dead weight of homework, you will want to climb the mount Beshtau and to look from its top at Elbrus, and to say, like the poet did, "Like sweet song of my Motherland I love the Caucasus!" These words are remembered often. M. Yu. Lermontov, a Russian poet, visited "Zheleznie Wody" ("Iron Waters") several times; in the city itself and in the surrounding area there are a lot of places connected with his name.
