The theme: Kazakhstan and Great Britain

The aims: a) Educational: To master new lexics and its use in speech, to revise already studied material on the theme “Geography”.

b) Developing: To develop students skills and habits in dialogue speech through asking (answering) questions, making up of conversations.

c) Bringing –up: To teach the students to be patriot, to teach pupils to love and know about Kazakhstan and Great Britain.

The visual aids: cards, pictures on the theme “Kazakhstan” , “Great Britain”, interactive board, badges, Venn's diagram, map.

Connection with other subjects: Kazakh, Russian, Geography.

Procedure of the lesson

1. Organization moment.

• Dear friends! I am very glad to see you at our meeting. Our meeting will be held in the form of a competition. Today we will revise the materials on the themes “Kazakhstan” and “Great Britain”.

II. Phonetic drill:

The 8^th round: Do you know songs or poems about Great Britain and Kazakhstan?

The next round to sing or to recite poems about countries. Now let's finish our competition with the song “My Bonny” . I think you know.
