The theme: “ The Cotton Girl and Cat” Date: 13.02.2018
The aims: * To bring up artistic sense, to develop ability of understanding
spoken English.
* To develop reading and speaking skills
* To enlarge students’ knowledge of English literature
The visual aids: characters, slides, interactive board
Narrator: One day the cotton girl cleans her house and found the raisin. The cotton girl calls her cat:
Cotton girl: My dear cat, my dear! Come here!
Narrator: But the cat doesn’t come and the cotton girl eats the raisin. After the cat come and says:
Cat: Who call me and why?
Narrator: But the cotton girl doesn’t answer.
Cat: If you don’t answer I will pour your milk.
Narrator: The cat was angry and to pour milk out.
Cotton girl: Why did you pour my milk. I will cut your tail.
Narrator: The cotton girl takes out the cats tail.
Cat: Sorry! Cotton girl please give me my tail.
Cotton girl: No! You pour milk. If you want to take it you must bring me milk then I will give your tail.
Narrator: The cat is sad and thinks so long then he will go to cow and says:
Cat: My dear cow, my dear cow! Please! Give me your milk.
Narrator: the cow says:
Cow: I want to eat grasses, bring me grasses then I will give you my milk.
Narrator: The cat comes to the tree and says:
Cat; My dear tree, my dear tree! Please, give me your grasses.
Tree: I want to drink water, bring me water then I will give you grasses.
Narrator: The cat comes to the river and sees girls who are with water and cat says:
Cat: My dear girls, my dear girls! Please, give me your waters.
Girls: We want to chew. You must bring us chewing gums, then we will give you our waters
Narrator: The cat comes to the shop assistant. The cat says:
Cat: My dear shop assistant! Please give me chewing gums.
Narrator: The shop assistant say:
The shop assistant: I need eggs. If you bring me eggs, I will give you chewing gums.
Narrator: The cat come to the hen and says:
Cat: My dear hen, my dear hen! Please, give me your eggs.
Narrator: The hen says:
Hen: I am hungry. I want to eat. Bring me wheat, then I will give you eggs.
Narrator: The cat goes and goes, but he doesn’t know what to do? Suddenly the cat sees a mouse which runs and the cat catches the mouse and says:
Cat: If you want to live, answer me. Have you got any wheat?
Narrator: The mouse says:
Mouse: Yes I have! I will give you wheat. Please don’t kill me.
Narrator: The mouse gives wheat to the cat. The cat comes to the hen and the hen gives eggs. The cat comes to the shop assistant and the shop assistant gives chewing gum. The cat comes to the girls and the girls give water. The cat comes to the tree and tree gives grasses. The cat comes to the cow and the cow gives milk. The cat comes to the cotton girl and the cotton girl gives cat’s tail.
