II.Aims of the lesson:
1.Developing: to develop thinking,understanding, memory, oral speech, reading, writing, listening skills, to enrich their vocabulary, to do exercises;
2.Educational: -to remember some words concerning the theme, to explain the quantity of nouns- countable and uncountable nouns, to develop their memory;
3.Bringing up – to bring up love and interest to the subject, respect to each other.
III. Duties:
To teach the students to know about countable and uncountable nouns.
To develop the oral and written skills of the students.
To further educate students about difference between much/ many/ a lot of.
Methods of the lesson: Critical thinking, question –answer, speaking, reading, listening and writing.
Connecting with other subjects: Kazakh, Russian
Results:
Students will be able to use the quantity of nouns in writing & speaking.
They will be able to know about the Don’t Do This At Home.

Warm-up.
Before beginning our today’s lesson, let’s do the circle and say to each other best comments.
III. Check up the homework
Make sentences using some and any.
Learn by heart new words.
Today’s new theme is about “ Don’t Do This At Home”, and grammar is about “Much, many, a lot of”. III. Working with grammar
Much/ Many/ A lot of
We use ‘much’ in questions and negatives about quanity with uncountable nouns.
For example:
How much milk is there?
How much cheese is there?
There isn’t much milk.
There isn’t much cheese.
We use ‘many’ in questions and negatives about quanity with countable nouns in the plural.
We use ‘a lot of ’ in affirmative, questions and negatives about quanity with countable / uncountable nouns.
For example:
There are a lot of oranges.
There is a lot of chocolate.

Michel Lotito ( or Mr Mangetout ) is from France and he loves eating.
He eats bikes and beds. He eats computers and TVs. He also eats small planes!
Why does he do it? It’s challenge, he says. How does he do it? He eats a small plate of metal with every meal. There isn’t much metal and he drinks a lot of water. For normal people, metal food is very dangerous- don’t eat it at home! But Mr Mangetout likes it!
Mr Mangetout sometimes eats normal food. He likes apples, but he doesn’t like bananas and there aren’t any eggs in his fridge. He ‘s usually ill when he eats eggs.

There aren’t a lot of / much people like Mr Mangetout.
