ТЕМА: «Yourfuturecareer».
Цель: развивать у учащихся навыки устной и письменной речи по теме «Выбор профессии».
Задачи:
- активизировать лексику по теме «Выбор профессии»;
-практиковать учащихся в словообразовании;
- совершенствовать коммуникативные навыки учащихся по теме «Выбор профессии».
Планируемые результаты обучения:
Личностные:
-формировать чувство потребности в выборе профессии, востребованной в современном обществе;
- помочь учащимся определиться с выбором будущей профессии;
- формировать качества, необходимые для успешности в будущей профессиональной деятельности.
Метапредметные:
- умение планировать работу, сравнивать, обобщать, делать логические выводы;
- умение работать с различными источниками информации, выделять главное;
Предметные
- умение логично и последовательно выражать свое мнение в соответствии с коммуникативной задачей;
- умение строить логическое высказывание по теме;
Тип урока: комбинированный с применением информационно-коммуникационных технологий и Интернет ресурсов.
ОБОРУДОВАНИЕ: учебник « Happy English 3», рабочая тетрадь №3 к этому учебнику, электронная презентация по теме, компьютер, видеопроектор, экран.
1.Введение в тему.
Цель: первоначальная мотивация учащихся, внутренняя установка на тему.
Т.: Good morning, friends. The topic of our lesson today is «Your future career»(слайд1).We are going to speak about professions. The fact is that you are finishing the 11th grade. Now it`s time to leave for college, institute or university (слайд 3).You have to make up your mind what field you will specialise in.
I`m sure you`ll manage to choose your future career and explain your choice at the end of our lesson.
Besides, we`ll read interesting texts, do projects and some other tasks.
So, let`s get started.
2.Речевая зарядка.
Цель: активизировать имеющиеся у учащихся знания.
Вариант 1.
– Who wants to check yourself how you remember the translation of them. (Slide 3-7)
Guess what profession is described here.
Someone who can count well and keeps the money records of a business.
Someone who designs clothes.
Someone who writescomputer programs.
Someone who gets cash or pays out money in a shop.
Someone who changes spoken words from one language to another.
Someone who studies or works in physics.
Вариант 2.
а) Т.: First, answer my question « What professions do you know?»
Учащиеся называют по-английски известные им профессии (слайд 4).
б) Т.: But there are popular and prestigious professions. I`ll show you some celebrities. You should characterise them speaking about qualities and abilities. Look through the new words. (Учитель раздаёт карточки с новыми словами) (Card 1). If you have some problems you can ask for help.(Учащиеся просматривают новые слова).

с) Т.:Now look at the screen of today`s presentation(слайды5-13). Answer my questions.

«What qualities and abilities does he/she possess»?
(Учащиеся отвечают на вопросы).
3.Работа над лексикой.
Т.:By the way, can you describe jobs? Look at the screen and match the professions and their definitions (слайды 14-15).
4.1 Pre-reading activities.
Now we are going to read the text the title of which is ‘’ Financial Careers’’.
Can you predict what the text is about? Try to explain the meaning of the word ‘’career’’. The adjectives: brilliant successful glittering distinguished are often used with the word career.
What jobs are related to finances?
As you can see there are 4 subtitles. Let’s read them aloud:

Do you understand the meanings of the words? To understand them better, match the words to their definitions.
1find-raiser a person whose business is to buying and selling a
particular product
2 tycoon a person who is successful in business or industry
and has become rich and powerful
3 auctioneer a person who collects money for a charity or an
organization
4 dealer a person whose job is to direct an auction and sell
the goods
Now you can see photos of famous people. Name them and guess which career might refer to each of them.
How do you think these jobs are better done by men or women, or there is no difference?
5.Говорение. Обсуждение профессий по картинкам (работа в группах).
Т.: Now you will work in groups and make projects. You`ll have to presentthe image of a professional teacher. While making your projects answer the questions on the screen: (слайд 17-19).
(Учащиеся в группах составляют проект – описание профессии учителя).
Т.: Now it`s time to show the results of your teamwork and present your projects. Start your sentences with the expressions: (слайд 20).
6.Окончаниеурока. Подведениеитогов.
Т.: Today you have revised the vocabulary for jobs and have discussed why they are important. Now answer the following questions: (слайд 21). Start your sentences with the phrases expressing and giving reasons: (тот же слайд).
Т.: There are many interesting professions: ordinary, popular and prestigious Tastes differ. It`s up to you to decide what profession to choose.

7. Домашнеезадание.
Т.: Your home task will be to answer the questions of the Questionnare and bring them to the next lesson. We`ll learn about your possible career. And also do ex. 1, p.68-69 (раб. тетр.) (слайд 23) – задать вопросы к прочитанным в классе текстам.
