Тип урока: Урок совершенствования навыков и умений.

Цель урока: Познакомить учащихся с новой лексикой по теме «Спорт», тренировать ее в различных упражнениях.

Задачи урока:

1. Развивать языковую компетенцию при формировании навыков чтения, аудирования и говорения.

2. Способствовать развитию памяти, внимания, логики мышления.

3. Способствовать воспитанию толерантности и интереса к стране изучаемого языка.

4. Прививать любовь к спорту и здоровому образу жизни.

Тип урока: с использованием ИКТ.

Форма работы: фронтальная, частично групповая.

Оснащение урока:

1. Доска с датой и темой урока.

2. Транскрипционные значки для фонетической зарядки.

3. Учебник.

4. Мультимедийный проектор, компьютер, экран.

I.Организационный момент

Good morning. I’m glad to see you. Take your seats, please. How are you today? Do you like sports? What kinds of sport do you know? What is your favourite kind of sports? And today the motto of our lesson is “Sports”. All together, please. Today we will speak about popular outdoor and indoor sports, the role of sport in our life.

II. Фонетическая зарядка

But first of all, let’s train our tongues.

Sports.

People all over the world are very fond of sports and games. The most popular outdoor winter sports are shooting, hunting, hockey and, in the countries where the weather is frosty and there is much snow -skating, skiing and tobogganing. Some people greatly enjoy figure-skating and ski-jumping.

In summer people have excellent opportunities for swimming, boating, cycling and many other sports. Among outdoor games football takes the first place; this game is played in all the countries of the world. The other games that are very popular in different countries are golf, volley-ball, basket-ball, tennis, cricket and so on.

All the year round many people go in for boxing, gymnastics and track and field events. Thousands of young girls and women go in for callisthenics.

Among indoor games the most popular are billiards, tabletennis, draughts and some others, but the great international game is chess, of course. The results of chess tournaments are studied and discussed by thousands of people in different countries.

Sport is very popular in our country. Physical training and sports have become an essential part of most people’s life. Sport doesn’t only help people to become strong and healthy. It also helps them in their daily work. There are many stadiums, swimming-pools, gym-halls, sports grounds in our country.

Every year sportsmen set new records in gymnastics, weight lifting, skiing, ski-jumping, skating, rowing, swimming and so on.
