Organizational moment

Good day students! How are you today?

Well, children today we have a new and interesting lesson. First of all I want you answer the question. What kind of animal do you like?

Warm – up

Teacher shows pictures with animals and ask students. What can you see on the picture?Teacher checksstudents knowledge how they know names of animals.

Then teacher lets the learners know the learning objectives of the lesson.

Teacher starts lesson a word elephant with pictures of animals, to continue the elephant students have to use the last letter of the following word.

For example: tiger –rabbit

Pre – teaching

Students are divided into smallgroups and asked to brainstorm write and any animals they know in 2 min. Then students name the animals they have written.

Pair work

Students to stick pictures behind the words in pairs. (Differentiation by support, more able students with students who need support.) Students should swap their works with other groups and check each other’s sticking worksheets with a teacher’s support. Teacher focuses on finding words correctly. (Peer based assessment)
