Открытый урок английского языка по теме: “The way I spend my free time”.

Цели урока:


  1. Развивающая

1. Good morning!

I am glad to see you. Today we’ll continue to work with the theme: “The way I spend my free time”.

The main aim of the lesson is to improve the knowledge of using grammar, active words and professional words, practicing in speaking English.

So, let’s start.

Today we’ll begin with listening and singing the song in order to practice the pronunciation.




2. Listen to a song. You will have to guess some missed words. Be ready to write them down. Take your pencils. We’ll start.

3.Let’s start with vocabulary, repeat after me.

Now you’ll read and translate the text. Begin.

Now you’ll be divided into pairs: one person we’ll ask questions and his partner we’ll answer.



7. And now let’s do a puzzle in order to revise some words connected with a computer. I’ll read you the tasks, be attentive.

In 1975 two friends: Bill Gates and Paul Allen started Microsoft and very soon it became a business success. In 1980, Gates bought a small company which produced an operating system called DOS. He made some changes to it and renamed it MSDOS.He sold the rights to use this system to IBM. Since 1980 MSDOS has been the standard operating system for all PCs. Microsoft has also developed such well – known programmes as Windows, Excel and Internet Explorer.

4. So, you read and translated the text about computers and now you’ll have to say in a few sentences about the way you spend your free time and when do you have it.

I’ll give you a little time to concentrate, to think a little.

5. And now we’ll do the following task: you’ll answer the questions in a written form which I will write on the blackboard.

You will have to use your active vocabulary.

Take a list, write down your name and surname, number of your group. Write only answers.

If you don’t know a word you need or how to translate the question, please ask me.
