Цели урока:
- развитие коммуникативной компетенции учащихся средствами английского языка
- знакомство учащихся с экзаменационными стратегиями написания эссе .
Задачи урока:
- ОБРАЗОВАТЕЛЬНЫЕ:
1. Закрепление и расширение лексических навыков по теме «Should parents choose friends for their children?».
2.Развитие навыков говорения .
3 Закрепление и расширение навыков выражения своего мнения по теме и умения вести дискуссию.
4. Познакомить учащихся с экзаменационными стратегиями, чтобы помочь им в дальнейшем сознательно выбрать предмет в качестве выпускного экзамена.

Gооd morning, everybody! I am glad to greet you at our lesson. I'd like everyone to take an active part in today I hope уоu` 11 enjoy it.

Today we'll not only discuss this topic but learn how to write an essay. But first of all we'll learn how to search for the necessary information.

Nowadays, the problem of choosing friends is very important and leads to heated arguments. Some parents think they should influence their children`s choice. However, children are against it. There are both advantages and disadvantages of such a solution.
On the one hand, there is no doubt that parents worry about their children. Firstly, they want their children tohave friends they can always trust, seek comfort and support from. Secondly, they think that they have more experience in relationships than their children do so they know better how to choose friends. What is more, parents are sure that they can prevent children from had influence of the street and from getting into trouble.
On the other hand, it goes without saying that children should choose their friends themselves. To start with, if they rely on their parents, they will never develop the skill of making good relationship. Moreover, parents might pick people you may not like, and these relationships will not last long. Last of all, teenagers should be given the right to make their own choice, get life experience by their own mistakes.
To sum up, this question has its pros and cons. I think the best way for both children and their parents is to talk. It is more, effective to discuss things than to put pressure on children.
