Данная методическая разработка позволит учителю провести урок, основанный на просмотре видеофрагментов мультфильма.Урок рекомендован для учащихся 6-8 классов в зависимости от уровня подготовки В разработке представлены задания разных типов и разного уровня сложности. Одни задания учащиеся выполняют до просмотра указанного фрагмента, другие во время или после просмотра. Работу можно выполнять индивидуально или в парах.

Урок рекомендован для учащихся 6-8 классов в зависимости от уровня подготовки
Цель урока: создание условий для развития и совершенствования коммуникативных навыков.
Задачи урока:
Образовательные: развитие и совершенствование навыков чтения, аудирования, говорения; расширение и обогащение словарного запаса по теме "Еда".
Воспитательные: развитие способности и готовности к самостоятельному изучению английского языка; повышение мотивации к изучению английского языка.
Развивающие: развитие речевой творческой активности учащихся; развитие памяти, внимания, воображения; развитие познавательного интереса;

Ход урока:
Организационный момент
Перед просмотром первого эпизода учащиеся выполняют задание №1. Работа может быть выполнена индивидуально или в парах. Для проверки правильности выполнения просматриваем эпизод, корректируем последовательность предложений по необходимости. Читаем вслух полученный текст.
Следующий эпизод – короткий. Для детального понимания выполняем задание №2: соединить начало и конец реплик.
Просматривая следующий эпизод знакомимся со словами титров: (gun firing), (thunder rumbling), (woman screaming) Ratatouille (clattering) (sniffing). После просмотра эпизода выполняем задание №3.
Кто из героев произносит эти реплики. Данное задание №4 выполняется по ходу просмотра.
Еще один короткий эпизод, после которого учитель задает вопросы: What is special about people? How does Guestau describe food? What does he compare it with? How can we create anything new?
Последний эпизод начинается с момента приготовления на крыше до фразы «И все это время я был под Парижем». Рекомендуется сначала просмотреть эпизод, затем выполнить предложенные задания.
Этапы работы с видеоматериалом:
Перед просмотром (pre - viewing)
обобщение ранее полученных знаний по теме (активизация лексики, грамматики);
обсуждение заголовков; работа с новой лексикой.
Во время просмотра (while - viewing)
Кроме заданий, включённых в видео урок, учитель может использовать следующие приёмы:
учащиеся просматривают сюжет без звука и угадывают, что говорят персонажи; заполняют пропуски в предложениях нужными словами и выражениями.
После просмотра (post - viewing)
учащиеся могут прослушать звуковое сопровождение видеосюжета без изображения. После этого учитель задаёт вопросы типа: "Where does the scene take place? How many characters are talking? Who are they? What are they talking about? и т. д.
выстраивание частей текста в логической последовательности.
Домашнее задание: вспомнить любой из просмотренных эпизодов, придумать иллюстрацию к нему и составить небольшой комментарий (50-80 слов).

Look, if we are going to be thieves, why not steal the good stuff in the kitchen, where nothing is poisoned?
Food is fuel. You get picky about what you put in the tank, your engine is gonna die. Now shut up and eat your garbage.
