Цели урока:
Обучающая:
- формирование навыка употребления ЛЕ по теме «Телевидение», «Интернет»;
- совершенствование навыка аудирования на основе изучаемой темы.

- развитие логического мышления;
- развитие умения выражать речью результаты мыслительной деятельности.
Воспитательные:
- воспитание умения партнерского общения и умения работать в группе.
Используемая наглядность: презентация Power Point, доска, раздаточный материал, смайлики, ватман А3, маркеры, клей, магниты, флажки с обозначением команд

- Good morning students! I’m glad to see you. How are you? Show me. Ok. Let’s start our lesson, and I think it will be very interesting and useful for you. I want you to be active, don’t be shy and try to speak only English.

- Your homework for today was the text. What about this text? (“About mass media in our life”). You must read and translate it. Who will be the first?
“News and mass media in our life”
Everywhere, every day, exciting things are happening. Each day is filled with news. People learn news and views during reading newspapers and magazines, talking over the telephone or they are kept informed by watching TV or listening to the radio. The press, the radio and television play a big role in the life of the society. They inform, educate and entertain people. They also influence the way people look at the world and make them change their views. Mass media plays a very important role in organizing public opinion. Millions of people watch TV and read newspapers in their free time. Most of people can't do without a newspaper in the underground or during the lunch break. TV also dominates the life of the family most of the time. It is also a habit which impossible to resist. So Mass Media become a very important part of our life.
The Internet, which has many users and presents both opportunities and problems. Examples can include Blogs and podcasts (such as news, music and video). Mobile phones, which can be used for rapid breaking news and short clips of entertainment like jokes, horoscopes, games, music, and advertising. Millions of copies of newspapers appear every day. Many people subscribe to two or more newspapers; others buy newspapers at the newsstands. Most newspapers contain news, detailed articles on home and international affairs, reviews of books, art and TV shows. Many of them also cover sports events. In the USA daily newspapers are published in 34 different languages. The Internet has recently become another important source of information. Its main advantage is that news appears on the screen as soon as things happen in real life and you don't have to wait for news time on TV.

Whats app – a messanger for smartphones, allows to send messages, images, videos, audios. (from 2009, about 400000 users)
Twitter - a free service of short public messages sending
Google – a corporation which helps to search the information in the internet
Vkontakte – the largest social networking service in Russia, helps to find people and exchange messages.(from 2006, 40 mln people use every day)
Internet explorer – a web browser of Microsoft corporation From 1995
Odnoklassniki – a social site for searching classmates, friends etc.
Facebook –a social networking service, allows users to find and communicate with friends, share photos, videos, and join different groups.

Do you agree that nowadays we can’t imagine our life without computers, mobile phones and the Internet? They almost became the part of our life. And today we will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the Internet. To my mind this topic is very actual.

- Now I shall read you what The O’Nills’ family (mother Mrs O’Nill, father Mr O’Nill, their son Jason and daughter Clare) think about the Internet. Show me their points of view.
(Учащиеся слушают и с помощью смайликов показывают отношение каждого члена семьи к Интернету). Кратко резюмируем, то каждый из членов семьи думает об Интернете.
Аргументы «за» и «против» Интернета. Создание Майнд-карты.
- А теперь мы с вами попробуем определить преимущества и недостатки Интернета. (слайд презентации) Мы разделимся на 2 команды. Первая команда должна определить положительное влияние интернета на нашу жизнь, вторая команда – отрицательное влияние. На столах конверты с карточками, каждая команда выбирает те, которые подходят им и наклеивает на лист, создавая майнд-карту.
1 этап (1 балл):
Карточки: Information, Education, Social networking, Earning money, Communication, entertainment, Shopping, Waste of time, Health damage, Addiction, Become lazy, Much violence, Many advertisements.
