Post-lesson reflection note
This lesson plan is made on the textbook for the third form of primary school (the second year of study of English) “Millie-3” The authors of the textbook are S. I. Azarova., E. N. Druzhinina and others. The lesson was given in Form 3L in the second term.
There are 15 pupils in the group. They are 9 or 10 years old. All the pupils of the group are of the same abilities and have good memory; no one of them has difficulties in learning English.
The given lesson is the lesson of developing language skills. It is based on teaching vocabulary structures. It is the third lesson in the unit. Its main aim is to develop the children’s ability to ask and answer about where animals live. I used visual and auditory styles of learning as well in the presentation stage as in the practice stage. The children listened to the quiz for recognition of new language and read the text for recognition of new language, answered the questions about the animals.
I am satisfied with the lesson. Most pupils really learned the words and structures taught, could pronounce them correctly, ask and answer about where animals live. They listened to the quiz and read the story with great interest and worked very well at the lesson.
