Конспект открытого урока английского языка на тему:

“Leisure of teenagers”

10 класс

(УМК “Enjoy English”)

Цели:

Практическая: развивать умения монологической речи.

Образовательная: формирование речевых умений; совершенствование навыков аудирования.

Развивающая: развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции (речевой, языковой, учебно-познавательной) по теме музыка, способствовать развитию творческой деятельности учащихся.

Воспитательная: расширение кругозора учащихся; приобщение учащихся к проблемам эстетического воспитания.

Оборудование: компьютер, проектор, карточки с заданиями.

Ход урока:

I. Организационный момент

Good morning, my dear boys and girls!

I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please.

II. Определение темы и цели урока.

Well, what is the theme of our lesson? If you look at the screen, you will see a small crosswords puzzle. If you guess and fill in it, you will know the key-word and the theme of our lesson: (слайд № 1)

4. what is the hometown of the Beatles?

T.: Music plays a very important role in our life. It is one of the most important interests among teenagers. They focus a lot of attention on music in their spare time.

III. Фонетическая зарядка. (слайд №3)

T.: Look at the screen. You can see words describing different kinds of music. Let’s name them. Read them aloud: Rap, opera, folk, jazz, punk, heavy metal, classical, hard rock, blues, rock. (Учащиеся повторяют слова за учителем, потом читают вслух самостоятельно).

Т.: Open your books on page 35. Let’s answer some questions about your music preferences.

IV. Организация работы в группах. (слайд №4)

T.: Let’s split into groups of four!

I’ll give you cards with the texts. Your task is to read and understand the texts and match the types of music to the definitions.

You have 3 min to do this task!

VII. Развитие умений самостоятельной работы с лексикой.

Ex. 96 p. 36 Create a word web using the words from the box. ( Учащиеся заполняют схему индивидуально, а затем в парах сравнивают полученные схемы).

VIII. Развитие умений устной монологической речи.

T.: Think of ways different kinds of music affect you. Use the expressions of your word web. Share your ideas.

T.: I’m going to read you some questions, you should put up your hands if you know the answer! Let’s start.

T.: We can speak about music almost all the time. There are a lot of words to describe music and to express your attitude to it. (Ex. 99 p. 37 Music preferences profile). Can you tell what your favourite music is. What is your favourite singer or a group? (учащиеся представляют свои презентации о своих любимых исполнителях).

IX. Подведение итогов. (слайд №9)

Ok! Very good! To sum up our discussion about the role of music in our life, I would like to stress the fact that our life is full of ups and downs and we are supposed to cope with all these difficulties with a sense of humor and music. Without them our life would be intolerable.
