Конспект интегрированного урока английского языка и литературы

Тема урока: WilliamShakespeare.
Цель: Повторить и активизировать лексические единицы по теме, ознакомить с новой лексикой;
Актуализировать на практике Past Simple Passive$
Содействовать развитию коммуникативных навыков учащихся;
Совершенствовать навыки чтения;
Воспитывать читательский интерес учащихся.
Оборудование: карточки с новой лексикой, карточки «Matching», карточки «True or false», портрет В.Шекспира, пазл (разрезанное изображение театра «Глобус»).
Тип урока: интегрированный урок английского языка и литературы
Ход урока
І. Подготовка к восприятию иноязычной речи
1. Приветствие и организационный момент
Teacher: Good day, dear children!
Pupils: Good day, dear teacher!
Teacher: How are you today?
2. Сообщениетемыицелейурока
Teacher: Dear children, today we are going to have an unusual lesson – combined lesson of English and Literature.We’ll continue working with Past Simple Passive. Moreover, we’ll speak about a very famous English poet and dramatist who wrote such popular tragedies as “Romeo and Juliet”, “Hamlet”, “Othello”. Now you can have a look at his portrait. Do you know this person?
Pupils: Yes, we do. This person is William Shakespeare.
Teacher: You’re right. What other facts about William Shakespeare do you know?

Teacher: You’ve told really interesting facts. But before starting working on the topic let’s check your home task.
3. Проверкадомашнегозадания
Teacher: Your home task was to make up five sentences using the Past Simple Passive.

Teacher: Now you’ll work in pairs. You’ll get the cards. Your task is to match the words from the first column with their meanings. Your knowledge in Literature will help you to do it.

William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon. His father was a glove-maker. William went to a grammar school and had a good education. There he learned to love reading.
William married when he was still a teenager. His wife, Anne Hathaway, was several years older than he was. He earned his living helping his father in the family business. He had three children when he left for London in 1587. Some people say that the reason he had left his wife and children was his love to poetry and theatre.
In London Shakespeare began to act and to write plays and soon became an important member of a well-known acting company. Most of his plays were performed in the Globe Theatre. It was built on the bank of the river Thames. In 1613 William stopped writing and went back to live in Stratford where he died in 1616.
His plays are still acted not only in England but on the stages of many theatres of the world.
