Конспект урока английского языка в 6 классе «Британские, русские и американские праздники».
Автор: Слыжова А.А. преподаватель иностранного языка, ГБУ ДО ДСООЦ «Лазурный».
Тема: British, Russian and American Holidays.
Цель урока: развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции обучающихся.
Задачи:
1)Развивающие:
- развивать языковую догадку, память, внимание;
- повышать мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка;
- развивать умение выбирать нужную информацию из прослушанного текста.
2)Воспитательные:
- воспитывать культуру общения в разных видах речевой деятельности;
- воспитывать уважение к культурным традициям родной страны и страны изучаемого языка.
3)Учебные:
- закрепить лексику по теме «Праздники»;
- развить навыки аудирования;
- тренировать лексические и фонетические навыки.

1. Орг.момент.
Teacher: Good morning, friends! I’ m glad to see you. How are you? Are you fine today? That’s nice. If you are ready, let’s start our lesson.
Look at the blackboard, you can see some pictures and photos. What is the theme of our lesson? What do you think? I hope that it will be interesting for you during our lesson.
2. Постановка целей и задач урока.
Teacher: Today we are going to talk about holidays and traditions connected with them in Great Britain, America and in our country Russia. Traditions, connected with different holidays, are very important in all countries. Of course, they play an important role in the UK, the USA and in our country. I think, you remember such holidays as St.Valentine’s Day, St.Patrick’s Day, Christmas and Halloween. People in Russia like people all over the world have their own traditions and customs, they are for example New Year’s Day, Christmas and others. I think you will be active. I wish you good luck. Let’s begin our work.

Teacher: Let`s start our meeting with phonetic exercise. There are holidays all year round. Let`s remember the mоst popular English and Russian holidays. (чтение слов по транскрипции и сопоставление с русским вариантом).

We begin with Russian holidays. Every holiday has its own traditions, symbols and songs, different holidays – different songs. Every holiday has its own tradition. Now we try to make Russian holidays calendar. Take your worksheets and do task 1. Which holiday is the most important in our country? In my opinion it’s Victory Day. Now take your worksheets and do task 2. Listen to the text “Victory Day” and complete it with the words from the box.
