Цели и задачи: - способствовать формированию умений и навыков употребления Past Simple во всех видах предложений; обеспечить их употребление через языковые и речевые упражнения;
- способствовать формированию навыков устной речи;
-развивать навыки аудирования текста и употребления глаголов в Past Simple;
-поддержать интерес к изучению языка;

Ход урока.
- Приветствие и организационный момент:
T: Good morning, children! I am calling “Good morning’
Good morning to you,
This sunny bright morning
How do you do?
P: We are calling Good morning
Good morning to you
This bright sunny morning
Quite well, and you?
T: I am quite well too. Thank you.
T: I am glad to see you again. Who is on duty today? Who is absent today? What date is today? What day is it today? Are you ready for the lesson? How are you,P1? Are you fine, P2?
2.Фонетическая зарядка.
The Kangaroo
Today, when I was at the Zoo,
I watched the mother kangaroo.
Inside her skin she had a pocket
She put her baby there to rock it.
T: Look at the poem again and find the verbs. What form are these verbs in?
P: The Past Simple.
T: Yes, right you are. Today we shall use in our speech Past Simple in Questions, Negative sentences and Affirmative sentences.
Now, let’s revise some irregular verbs: come- came, say- said, go- went, see-saw, can- could, take-took, tell-told, fly- flew, fall- fell, meet-met, get- got, find-found, catch- caught, choose- chose.
3. Речевая зарядка.
T: What words do we use in the past Simple?
P: We use the words yesterday, last month, last year,.years ago.
T: Ask questions to your mates and answer their questions. Use the words yesterday, last week, last year.
P:Did you do your homework yesterday? Did you go to London last year? Did you play football yesterday? Etc.
T: Let’s do exercise 4 on p. 188. What did you do yeaterday? Choose answer a) or b).
4. Совершенствование навыков аудирования. (На диске 17а).
T:Now we shall listen to the text. There are some new words for you: Cliffton, boat, Harbour, lighthouse, to sail, to mend, to sell. Repeat the words after me, please.
Now listen to the text very attentively and do the tasks.
(Учащиеся слушают текст 2 раза. Когда слушают второй раз, они должны щелкать на предмет последнего слова диктора).
Задание 17b. Choose the right form of the verb. (Учащиеся выбирают правильно написанное слова в Past Simple).

-What do you know abot his family?
- Where could the tunnels take people?
-Where did Robin find his relatives?
-Where did Robin find Misha?
-Could he find the Stone of Destiny?
b) Let’s play a game. Who wants to be Robin? Well, ask Robin your questions and answer for him. Use exercise 2 p.188.
