Beginning of the lesson | To create positive atmosphere in the classroom Ask about the weather Checking up the home task Game “Freeze” Learners are divided into two groups. One of the teams are faced to another side. The second team is given a word which they must show with mime until teachers command “freeze”. They freeze in the position they stand. At this time opponents find the word. |

Main activities
| To introduce new topic Learners repeat new words. Make them write new words in their vocabulary copy-books. To test knowledge learnt in this module Explain the task. Allow Ss some time to read the Text and try to understand the context. Have students fill in the Venn diagram. They write differences and similarities of two parks according to the park. Check Ss’ answers. To watch a video Students need to see the parks to imagine what it looks like “Mix and match” Explain the task and allow Ss time to look through the topic 1 and think of words. Students have cards some have English others Kazakh translations. They mix and find their pairs. Teacher asks comprehension checking questions about the text “Numbered heads together” Give ss numbers 1,2,3,4 for each. Give a task. They work in groups, think about the task. If they are ready they put their heads together. Teacher names number of a students who is to answer. |
