-Recognize and follow teacher instructions

Answer “What’s this?” question

Pronounce 90% of words on the topic “Transport” intelligibly

Success criteria

Learners have met the learning objective (S5) if they can:

Ask and answer “What’s this?” "How do you go on holiday? Do you like to travel? questions

Teacher asks students: "What day is it today?', "What is the weather like today?", What colour is the sun? What colour is the sky?

Students listen to the teacher  and follow the instructions to do the “Head to head”.

T.: Children, look at our magic screen, please. How do you think: what our lesson is about? S-s  guess the theme of the lesson.

- repeat the words after teacher.

- answer the questions: What letter is the first? Which sound gives this letter? What is this? Students repeat first in chorus then individually.

 S answer: This is a car. This is a bus.

Pair work. Speaking.

- students working in pairs point to the pictures and ask each other  questions: What’s this? – This is a plane.

Teacher go from pair to pair and listen to students’ performances, assist with pronunciation if necessary.

Dynamic break

S play a game"Who is the first?"

T.: We need to groups. (T  divide children in two groups.)

T.: I show you some pictures on the screen, you should  find and touch them on the blackboard.

Whole class activity

- students repeat  singing new words: on holiday, travel

- students make up sen-s

T.: Listen to the recorder and colour the pictures.

Dynamic break

T.: :Now, it's time to play a game "Bingo". Sit in threes, please.

Work in groups. "Find the word".

T.:You are going to create  a poster.  There are some pictures and words.  You should  match the pictures with the words and glue them.
