The aim of the lesson:
Practical: Students would be able to collect much information about materials that they have taken till this time from Message and Educational: To develop student’s skills in oral speech, to help to analyze the differences between themes, to understand the language carefully, to get used to team work.
Cultural: respect and learn other languages and culture, its customs. To teach work in groups cooperatively.
The procedure of the lesson:
1) Greeting with guests
2) Presentation of 5 parts
3) Ending, words for the guests
Welcome to our lesson «Juniors of XXI century»
II. Good day dear guests. Today we take our younger 5th degree pupils to demonstrate the competition lesson, because they are taught by new technology method and are learning “Message” book.
I. And they would like to show themselves in “Language week” in lyceum, in other part, how they have been taught till this time. It means 5 students in each form should participate in this competition.
And juries will mark out and give scores to each part.
II. They are our English teachers. OK, now I will introduce what kind of parts we are going to have
1) “Talk” about topics
2) Teams work in posters.
3) “The best translator”
4) Game “ Word mountain”
5) “ Find the translations
I. So, now let us start our competition lesson. First tour will be talk about topics that will be chosen by students. Captain of the team will choose a number and so under this number there will be name of topics
1. My house, my room
2. My day
3. My family
II. In second part teams will choose names of theme that will be worked in posters. And during 10- 15 minutes they should describe and write about the theme clearly and draw and put their pictures with own fantazy, and the work should be well done. While members of the teams will work on poster we are coming to 3rd tour.

I. Now 3rd tour is “the best translator”.
Our teachers can enjoy themselves seeing how our children will say in speed the word’s translation in English. And for each word is one score, about 30 words will be given
II. Ok we are passing the 4th tour, it will be game “Word Mountain” and pupils should make up words from different themes that they have taken before, and the whole view of the wok should be seen as “mountain” and students should put the words in right way and column.
I. So, it means first column 1. 2 words for numbers
Second 2. Three words for season
Third 3. Four words for family members
Fourth 4. Five words for days
Fifth 5. Six words for colors
Sixth 6. seven words for months
Total score for right construction will be 10
II. 5th tour will be “Find the translation” Pupils should give answers for the given sentences, like a puzzle. And answers should be in Russian, Kazakh, and English. One right answer is one score.
I So, we are at the end of our lesson and would like to give word to our teachers to conclude our competition. Which team was the best and some impressions about lesson, thank you!
