“WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT English?”

 Цели и задачи:

- систематизировать полученные знания по теме, создать непринужденную атмосферу общения на английском языке;

- развивать творческие способности учащихся, умение их грамотно демонстрировать и применять в учебном процессе;

- стимулировать учебную мотивацию школьников;

-  развивать умение работать в команде, коммуникативную грамотность, внимательность и умение слушать и уважать собеседника;

- повысить интерес к предмету.

Приборы:  компьютер, проектор, сигнальные карты,жетоны.

My friends! Today the pupils of the ninth  forms are ready to play a very interesting game. It is called «Brain ring». I hope you’ll like it. So let’s start.  Good luck!

Well, friends, attention, please. I’m sure you’re all fine today, aren’t you? The weather is wonderful. The weekend is coming and soon you’ll get a chance to put away all your textbooks and spend time with your friends.

     We’ve gathered today to hold one of the TV games which were extremely popular among the school-leavers several years ago. It is called «Brain-ring». Our game will be devoted to the English-speaking countries. That’s why the walls of our classroom are decorated in this way today. You see the geographical maps of the English-speaking countries, their flags, colourful pictures, postcards demonstrating some historical places, places of interest and the portraits of English and American writers. I do hope that you’ve learnt a lot of interesting facts in our English lessons about the geographical position of the countries< their climate, vegetation and wild life, the heads of the countries, the streets, the squares, some palaces and monuments and people’s lifestyle. I’m sure you’ll certainly get some more information today as well.

Цели и задачи:

- систематизировать полученные знания по теме, создать непринужденную атмосферу общения на английском языке;
