Цели урока
Обобщение и систематизация знаний по теме “Health”
Задачи
Образовательные. Закрепить усвоенную лексику по теме « Здоровье»;
- обобщить правила употребления модальных глаголов must,should,
- практиковать учащихся во всех видах речевой деятельности.
Развивающие. Развивать мыслительную деятельность учащихся; умения анализировать и обобщать. Развивать и поддерживать интерес к предмету.
Воспитательные. Формировать у школьников навыки здорового образа жизни, подчеркнуть его значимость для человека.
Оборудование. Компьютер, экран, презентация в Power Point, карточки с тестом, атрибуты врача для диалогов.
Ход урока
1.Оргмомент
Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you. How are you today? Take your seats, please.
My name’s Yana Sergeevna. I’ll be your English teacher today.
- What date is it today?
- What season is it now?
- What is the weather like today?
Well, it’s winter now, the weather is so cold, frosty. In this season many people catch a cold.
Т. – Say, please, how do you show interest if you want to know how does your friend feel?
Т. – What is the topic of our lesson?
Т. - Yes, you are right. So, today in our lesson we’ll read, revise modal verbs, make up dialogues and other activities about health.
2. Фонетическая разминка.
At first, we shall practice the sounds. Look at the screen.
А) Read the sounds and the transcription: tooth,toothache, headache, earache, backache, insurance, should, foot-feet, must, consult, a cold, a sore throat, medicine.
b) in this task put the words in the logical order … read and translate these proverbs.
- Wealth, is, good, above, health. (Good health is above wealth.)
- Your, eat, wash, before, hands, you. (Wash your hands before you eat.)
And translate them.
What else English proverbs about health do you know?
Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
An apple a day keeps the doctors away.
3. Речевая зарядка.
T: Good health. There is no question about it. But if we have health problems, we visit a doctor.
- Will you answer my questions about doctors?
- What doctors will you visit?
- if you have a broken leg?
- if you have a toothache?
- if your pet doesn’t feel well?
- What doctors usually help children?

Now you’ll watch video and then you’ll answer the question:
What doctor did the girl visit?

Answer my questions:
- What health problem has this girl? (Ps. – a toothache)
- What advice does the dentist give her? (Ps. – don’t eat many sweets; brush her teeth 3 times a day).
- And you? How many times a day do you brush your teeth? (Ps. – 2 times a day)
5.Работа с модальными глаголами.
When people have some problems with their health we may give advice them. What modal verbs help us to give advice?

6. Минутка здоровья.
And now say, please, do you want to be healthy? To be healthy we should do some exercises. Let’s do exercises for your eyes.

In this ex. You can see the dialogue. Let’s read it. (2 pairs)
